Ferris Bueller is a high school senior and the titular protagonist in the 1986 film, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He is also the main character in its 1990 TV series sequel Ferris Bueller.
He is played by Matthew Broderick - who also portrayed Leo Bloom in The Producers, Simba in The Lion King, Niko Tatopoulos in Godzilla, Inspector Gadget in the live-action Inspector Gadget films, and Despereaux Tilling in The Tale of Despereaux - in the movie, and by Charlie Schlatter in the series.
Biography[]
In the beginning of the film, Bueller is a high school junior who decided to skip school to faking his sickness. He spends the day in downtown Chicago. He retrieved the Ferrari with his friends without getting caught by Mr. Rooney who kept looking for him and even breaking into his house. At the end of the film, he went back to bed before his parents came back to check on him.
Personality[]
He has shown to be friendly, educated and even-tempered. He also has his rational and righteous moments despite being rebellious and mischievous, he can also be instructive, selfless, bold, lion-hearted, understanding and level-headed. He can also be loving, empathetic, encouraging, earnest, relaxed, respectful, and inspirational. There are times where he's exuberant or funny. He has his moments of being bad-tempered, uncompromising, low-key, and rude at times.
