Fflewddur Fflam is a self-styled bard and the tritagonist in Disney's 25-th full-lenght animated feature film The Black Cauldron.
He was voiced by Nigel Hawthorne who also voiced Archimedes Q. Porter.
Personality
Fflewddur is sometimes afraid of facts, but otherwise he has his moments of courage as when he stands for witches to make Gurgi come to life. Although this is not mentioned in the animated film, he has his small kingdom.
Biography
Fflewddur first appears as a prisoner of the Horned King as he is chased by his dogs when he encounters Taran and Eilonwy. After fleeing the fortress, he leaves with them and Gurgi attacks him, but when he realizes that he is a friend of Taran, make up. Later they go to Morva, where Orwen whom is in love with him. Fflewddur further follows all the adventures of the other heroes in the story. He urges Orddu, Orwen & Orgoch to bring Gurgi back to life. And at the very end, when the adventure ends, they happily taking Taran home.
