Tokiko Tsumura

Tokiko Tsumura (津村斗貴子 Tsumura Tokiko) is an 17-year-old alchemic warrior. Seven year prior the series events, all the people in her school except for her are killed by homunculi, and she is rescued by Mamoru Sakimori. As such, she is serious almost all the time. The incident also leave her with a scar, which could have been removed by using alchemy, but she decides to keep it as a reminder of her will to fight.

She was voiced by Ryōka Yuzuki in the Japanese version, and by Tara Platt in the English dubbed version.

Bio[]

Tokiko is the Alchemist Warrior who saved Kazuki's life, and unwittingly introduces him into the world of alchemy, Tokiko is more experienced and serious than Kazuki but is uncomfortable in social situations. She has an intense hatred of Homunculi and will go to any lengths to defeat them, and those who work with them. Tokiko wields the Death-Scythe Buso Renkin Valkyrie Skirt.

History[]

When Kazuki tried to save her from a homunculus (in actuality, she had the situation under control) Tokiko felt a sense of attachment to him and revived him with a kakugane, intending to make sure that he never gets killed again. Tokiko is very dedicated to her job, claiming that she hates all homunculi, and quit going to school in order to be more efficient. This hatred comes from the trauma she suffered as a little girl, when all the people in her school were killed or eaten by homunculi except her. As such, she is serious almost all the time, which leads to some awkward situations when with Kazuki and his friends. She is later assigned to be a student at Kazuki's school by Captain Bravo.
