Billy "The Kid" Timmons was a member of the Expendables. He served as one of the teams sharpshooters. He fell in love with a French woman named Sophia who he met while still serving in the army in Afghanistan, Billy wanted to leave the team, but was killed by Jean Vilain during a mission with them in what would have been his last month on the team. He is played by Liam Hemsworth, who also played Jake Morrison in Independence Day: Resurgence and Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games films.

Biography[]

Billy joined the SASR at some point. He served as a designed marksmen for his squad. One day, Billy and his squad were fighting in a valley in Afghanastian. After a three-hour engagement, his squad was killed with him being the sole survivor.

After the fatal day Billy's day proven to worst when he had found out that a stray dog that he had taken in, was killed by orders of the General. He stated that animals were not allowed on base and shot dead prior to his return. After this horrible day, decided to leave the Military.

Sometime later Billy met Expendables, a mercenary team, who offered him a spot alongside the team. He decided that he could use the job let-alone the money for his girlfriend; Sophia.

He accompanied the Expendables on several missions, he became good friends with Barney Ross. During a mission he was captured and tortured by Jean Vilain. Vilain, who has Hector to hold a knife to Billy's chest, eventually killed him by kicking the knife into his heart.

Trivia[]

Liam Hemsworth was originally cast as a sniper in The Expendables, but the character was deleted from the script. Stallone, however, remained in contact with Hemsworth and promised him a role in a possible sequel.
His nickname combined with his given name (Billy "The Kid") is an reference to real-life outlaw Billy the Kid.

He has the similar appearance to the character Piers Nivans from Resident Evil 6, both look alike and share the same skill set (both are snipers and die.)
