Bozo is a clown character very popular in the United States, peaking in the 1960s as a result of widespread franchising in early television.
Overview[]
Bozo is the world's favorite clown. He was portrayed by Bob Bell from the show's inception until his retirement in 1984, after which Joey D'Auria succceeded him for the remaining seasons. Assisting Bozo were Cooky the Cook, Ringmaster Ned, Professor Andy, Wizzo the Wizard, and many others.

Bozo is a clown, who has white make up on his face and has red hair. Likewise, he wears a blue clown suit, red nose, and big red shoes.
