Belle surprised to see her father's horse, Philippe run across the meadow.
After calming Philippe down, Belle realizes something terrible must have to her father as she sees that he's missing.

Finding Maurice's hat, Belle realizes her father must be inside the castle.

"Hello? Is someone here?"

"Papa!"-Belle finding her father who's locked up in a cell.
Belle reunited with her father.
"Who's done this to you?"
When Maurice orders her to leave immediately, Belle refuses as she doesn't want to leave her father.
"Who's there? Who are you?"
Belle meeting a figure lurking in the shadows who claims to be the master of the castle.
"I've come for my father. Please let him out. Can't you see that he's sick?"
"But he could die! Please I'll do anything!"
Belle hearing the castle's owner refusing to release Maurice as he's his prisoner.
"Wait!"
"Take me instead."-Belle selflessly exchanging her freedom for her father's.
Belle asking the castle's owner if he would release her father when she became his prisoner, which he says yes.

Belle surprised when Beast tells her to go rescue Maurice.
Belle astounded that Beast is setting her free.
Before she goes to leave, Belle remembers to give the mirror back to Beast.
However, Belle is told by Beast she can keep the mirror, making it a goodbye present to her.
Belle touched by Beast's selflessness.
"Thank you for understanding how much he needs me."
Belle sharing one last look at Beast before leaving.
After leaving the castle, Belle manages to find her father who's laying unconscious in the snow, sick and cold.
After returning to her cottage, Belle nurses her father back to health.
Belle reunited with her father.
"I missed you so much."
When asked by Maurice how she escaped from the castle, Belle tells her father that the Beast had set her free instead.
When her father calls the Beast horrible, Belle defends him and notes how he's changed his behavior during her time with him.
Belle and Maurice surprised when Chip tumbles out of Belle's bag as he had followed her out of the castle.
Belle being asked by Chip why she'd left the castle before she hears a knock at the door.
When Belle answers the door, she finds and meets Monsieur D'Arque outside her cottage.
Belle confused when Monsieur D'Arque says he's come to arrest Maurice, locking him in his insane asylum.
"My father's not crazy!"
