~ Fake Crash

Fake Crash is a neutral character in the Crash Bandicoot series who turned good in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced. He teams up with the Bandicoots in N-Tranced, Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Boom Bang to stop the antagonist. He was the main boss in Skylanders Imaginators Thumpin Wumpa islands pack. He is based on a Japanese Crash Bandicoot plushie.

Physical Appearance[]

Fake Crash basically looks identical to Crash Bandicoot, only with bushier eyebrows, a larger nose and sharper teeth. His eyes are also not as wide in comparison and have smaller pupils.

History[]

Creation[]

According to his profile in Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!, Fake Crash was created by Neo Cortex in an effort to confuse the real Crash.

Crash Team Racing[]

Fake Crash is a secret playable character that can be unlocked by winning every Gem Cup in Adventure Mode.

Crash Bandicoot 2: N. Tranced[]

Fake Crash was mistakenly captured by N. Tropy and brainwashed by N. Trance to help them achieve world domination. Eventually, Fake Crash is confronted by his heroic doppelganger Crash Bandicoot and they engaged in battle. Despite matching all of Crash's abilities, Fake Crash is defeated and isn't seen again until the N. Trance boss fight. Fake Crash assisted Crash by pouring lava on N. Trance (or anyone beneath him) during the boss fight's second phase. After N. Tropy's defeat, Fake Crash took a photograph of the heroes as a memento.

Crash Nitro Kart[]

Fake Crash appeared as a playable racer on Crash's team. He can be unlocked by doing 50 or more boosts on a track while playing as Cortex's team in adventure mode. In the Game Boy Advance version of the game, Fake Crash is unlocked by finding him off road on the track Out of Time.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled[]

Fake Crash returns as a playable character in this remake and is unlocked the same way as in the original game. It is revealed from his in-game taunts that Fake Crash is capable of some eligible speech although muffled by his large teeth as to mimic the babbling sounds Crash makes.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time[]

Fake Crash is a playable character alongside Fake Coco in the game's multiplayer mode. He is also a skin for Crash to unlock.

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run![]

Fake Crash appears as one of the bosses.
