Kalinag is a major protagonist in the 2014 video game Far Cry 4 serving as the playable character of the side mission "Shangri-La", and as a hallucinogenic antagonist of the Main Mission "Payback" of the same game.

When Ajay Ghale discovers a Thangka that causes him to relive Kalinag's story in Shangri-La the mission will begin however the mission is in five parts that cause you to look for the pieces of the thangka however once it all five mission are done, the Thangka will be restored in the Ghale Homestead.

Story

Not much is known about his history except that he was sent by his king to find Shangri-La. After finding it he discovers it is overrun with demons. As he travels through Shangri-La he finds a Sky Tiger that soon becomes his ally. As he ventured further through Shangri-La he sets the Bells of Enlightenment free which banishes the demons near the Bell.

He soon finds a bow that he uses to kill the demon from a distance, as all of the bells are set free he eventually fights Rakshasa and upon defeating it frees Shangri-La.

In the main mission "Payback" he serves as a boss but is not actually there but is the villain Yuma Lau, Ajay Ghale just sees Yuma this way after being drugged They soon get into combat causing Ajay to kill Yuma be repeatedly stabbing her with his Kukri ending the hallucination.
