Ami Murata is a supporting protagonist in the Freak Island/Kichikujima series both for part 1 and part 2.She was a troubled girl who ended up on the island and hostage by The Family and later Kaoru took a liking to her to the point of marrying her and she herself developed stockholm syndrome growing found of kaoru.
History[]
Ami first appeaered in Freak Island when uehara and Fujii appeared and captured by the family and Ami Meets them. She explains that she was trying to run away from her absuive father who abused her and his mother and had to pay off her debts to the yakuza who then took her to the Island and where she was captured and transformed by the family wearing sitches and a pig mask.Later on Ami explains to uehara about Mari the older sister of kaoru and later on Kaoru soon develops feelings for her after seeing her being a selfess woman beleveing that she is saint mary reincarnated. Ami would save Uehara from a now deranged Higashima and later fought her father again after she tried to rape her. Kaoru then kills her father and was forced into being a marrage but then the child of perception was born and tried to escape and kill everyone and later after the family acidenttaly killed the child the zombies started to arise and kaoru went to save her killing her zombified father again and accidently let maggots out leaving Ami in a state of relive and hysteria implying she is losing her sanity in the process. Despite this she slowed falls in love with Kaoru. She was later imprisoned alongside Higashiyama and Takahisa of which she witness their battle and after escaping witness the stone attacking higashiyama and bringing Uehara and the book to them.however ami had alraedy escape vowing to protect kaoru.

Ami is a kind hearted and timed young woman who is often too trsuting and naive.She is one of the few good and braver characers in that she was willing to stand up for others. She also shows sympathy to others like kaoru and eventually develop feelings for him despite all the arocities he and his family commited.
