Albert Robertson, also known as Fat Albert, is the titular main protagonist of the both animated franchise and the 2004 movie of the same name. He is the heart and soul, and often the conscience, of the Junkyard Gang.
In the film, Fat Albert and his friends (except for Russell) came out of Doris Robertson's TV to just so he can help Doris to solve her problems due to her being uninvited party. When he and his friends start fading away due to the series is ending, he met his creator, Bill Cosby to restart the show but before he can go back, he supports Doris and Lauri win their games. After fulfilled his help, he return to his TV show as well saying goodbye to both Doris and Lauri as well finishing his show by convincing Danielle to not skip school and run away from home.
He was named after Bill Cosby's late friend, Albert Robertson.
In the TV series, he was voiced by Bill Cosby, who also voiced the character of the same name and Mushmouth in the same series.
In the live-action film, he was portrayed by Kenan Thompson.

Fat Albert is an overweight afro-american man wearing red sweater, white shirt, blue pants and white shoes.
Personality[]
Fat Albert is an fun-loving man who despite being obese enjoys playing sports. He loves to sing with the Cosby kids of their favorite song "Gonna have a good time".
He describes himself as a funny man who loves to make others laugh but he can also be stern in the face of misjustice or cruelty, for example he will shed his comedic nature to confront criminals and bigots, perhaps the most famous examples of this is when he faces a racist punk and when he has to deal with the death of one of his friends due to a gang-war, during the gang-war event Fat Albert is at his most serious and even goes as far as to scold the older brother (who wanted to exact revenge), telling him firmly that his little brother died due to violence and him continuing violence would result in more deaths and dishonor his brother, who had been trying to stop the gangs.
