Jerry the King Lawler

Jerry "The King" Lawler is a recurring commentator featured in the WWE series. he is a both a wrestler and a man who wears king's clothes including his king crown on his head.

Jerry Lawler has played a small role as the father of Brian Lawler aka Big Sexy Cool who was wrestler just before him.

He is also a jovial gentleman, polite and social towards his best friend Jim Ross including John Bradshaw Layfield especially for Michael Cole in all of the episodes of wrestling.

Jerry Lawler has a son who has played a small role as a wrestler and sometimes as a minor commentator.

In 2001, when Paul Heyman was fired from his job by Vince McMahon and taken by security guards, Vince McMahon hires Jerry Lawler back as a commentator and becomes Jim Ross' best friend after Heyman was taken away by the guards on Vince McMahon's order, he has on friendly terms with Tazz, Jim Ross and John Bradshaw Layfield.

Lawler has known for his King's Court when he invites the wrestlers, especially The Undertaker and his mentor Paul Bearer, even that Lawler was afraid of The Undertaker, The Undertaker tells Jerry Lawler that he will seek revenge against Yokozuna with the help from Chuck Norris who keeps anyone from interfering the match.

In 2012, it is revealed that Lawler was victim of a nasty prank by CM Punk and Paul Heyman who began to mock him for a nearly fatal heart attack. Lawler was not happy that CM Punk was teasing him badly.

Jerry Lawler also appeared in Scooby-Doo! Wrestlemania Mystery, though he doesn't have any speaking roles. He is also a friend of Michael Cole.

Jerry Lawler also appeared in Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain as a commentator and a wrestler respectively where he serves as a ally of the wrestlers. He also appeared in all of WWE games as an non-playable character.

In 2018, his son Brian commited suicide by hanging himself in jail which deeply saddened Jerry Lawler.
