Nabu is a character from the Winx Club series. His first appearance was in "A Trap for Fairies". He was Aisha's love interest, and later fiancé.
He was voiced by Michael Yarmush and Todd Fennell.
Appearance[]
Nabu wears a tracksuit in purple colors with yellow stripes, with a neckline beneath his trousers, a red shirt and white shoes.
Personality[]
Despite his isolated childhood, Nabu is very social and friendly. He is upbeat, fun and enjoys life to its fullest. But he is also daring and intelligent, seeing as he ran away from home because he disapproved of the arranged marriage and even located Aisha and spied on her to know what she was like.
Nabu is a patient, kind, honest, understanding and rational person; he also does not get jealous. He shares these traits with Helia and both mediate between their friends who are having conflicts with their significant other, and especially Riven, whose personality is the opposite. Unlike Helia however, he is not shy. His patience is demonstrated when the Winx (especially Aisha) and Specialists were suspicious of him because he snunk onto their spaceship. He patiently waited for the group to trust him and did not push them to do so. Nabu is also very true to himself and sticks to his beliefs, which included marrying someone he loved.
He is capable in adapting to situations and is a quick and rational thinker. Shown when he quickly thought of an excuse when the girls caught him spying on them and when he easily removed the shackles (due to the group's suspicions) and protected Aisha from a winged centaur. Nabu's language of love is words of affirmation; he enouraged Riven to show his love for Musa through words. The complete opposite of Helia's.
Nabu is also very selfless and caring, seeing as he had sacrificed his own life for the Earth Fairies.
In the comics, he is shown to be naive, as a result as his isolated childhood, as shown with his relationship with Helisia and how he is even engaged to her, despite already dating Aisha, much to her chagrin.

Bio[]
Nabu is a wizard from the planet of Andros. He had a childhood very similar to Layla's: he had no friends and spent most of his time learning how to fight alongside the army guards. He is a very powerful wizard who has studied different types of spells on Andros.
Nabu appears only at the beginning of the third series of the cartoon even if at first he appears as a character named Ophir. Nabu belongs to one of the richest families of Andros and is the betrothed of Princess Layla whom he has never met. At first he opposes the marriage and runs away from his parents, then decides to go to Alfea to meet Layla and introduces himself to her under the name of Ophir. Nabu is immediately fascinated by Layla who on the contrary does not reciprocate. Nabu-Ophir will offer his help to the fairies of the Winx Club and to the Specialists against Valtor. He will also be saved from the fairies and will have the opportunity to get to know Layla better. At the end of the series he will reveal his true identity to her. He will join the fairies of the Winx Club, Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Layla and the specialist Helia to save the Specialists captured by Valtor by going on a mission to Andros. And at the end of the battle he will exchange his first kiss with Layla.
In the fourth series Nabu asks Layla to marry him even though in reality their marriage had already been arranged. Nabu decides to stay on Earth to protect the Winx Club fairies. In the fourth series Nabu sacrifices himself for the Earth Fairies against the Black Circle Sorcerers, running out of strength and dying. Despite this, the boy appears in the film Winx Club II: Magical Adventure, set after the events of the fourth season and helps the Winx and the Specialists in their battle. Possibly this film is set during the fourth season, and not after the fourth season. In the fifth series Layla sees an image of Nabu on her cell phone and misses her even more when she sees the other Winx together with their boyfriends, Sky, Brandon, Timmy, Helia and Riven.
