Narmoto is one of the protagonists in the BIONICLE series. He is the Protector of Fire as well as of the six Protectors and the chief of the villagers who resided in the Region of Fire.

Narmoto inherited the position from his father of protecting the Region of Fire in the planet Okoto. He was then told of the Prophecy of Heroes, which his ancestors had learned from the Mask Maker Ekimu after his battle with the Makuta of Okoto, to be recited in times of peril.
Quest in Okoto[]
After sometimes when the Skull Spiders began to attack both Okoto and the Matoran Universe, Narmoto and the other Protectors went to the Temple of Time to recite the Prophecy of Heroes. They then unwittingly summoned the Toa Mata who were then transported into Okoto. Narmoto then met with them as he told them about the situation and the quest of finding Ekimu. After the conversation, he and the other Protectors give the Toa Mata their powers and transform them into the Toa Masters. After that, the Skull Spiders began to attack. The Toa Masters effortlessly use their new powers to defeat them, amazing the whole crowd. Narmoto then decide to accompany the Toa Masters to help them to find the map revealing the location of Ekimu's tomb.

Narmoto is a wise being and has been entrusted with the historical knowledge of the Prophecy of Heroes. When he held a great respect towards Tahu and the other Toa Mata, he is not blind to the Toa's failings
