Throttle is one of the three titular main protagonists of the Biker Mice from Mars franchise.

He is the leader-figure of the trio with tan fur. Throttle's vision was damaged in the same incident that caused the losses of Modo's arm and the right side of Vinnie's face.

He was voiced by Rob Paulsen.

Background[]

As a result he wears green sunglasses with field spec capabilities. His sight does not appear to have been damaged completely, as he is able to look through a telescope in "Back to Mars" (current fan theories state that he can see without his shades for limited periods of time). On his right hand he wears a battle glove (coined "Nuke Knucks"). His first symbolic quote in the series was, "In this wild and woolly universe, there are three things you can count on: your brains, your bros and your bike!".

Appearance[]

In the 2006 version, Throttle is less muscular and younger looking. His fur is slightly more shaggy, especially his longer locks on his head. His lens are changed into one lens. He loses the tattoo on his right arm and all of his vest is black. In addition, he wears a green cross-belt from his left shoulder. His pants are normal jeans with the Biker Mice's new signature red belt and the Martian symbol, his being blue. Underneath is a pistol holster also fastened around his left leg. He no longer has the shinguards and the straps on his boots are now brown.

Equipment[]

In the 1993 version, he wears a cestus on his right hand, called "Nuke Knucks", which increases the strength of his blows with that fist. He also has a Laser pistol as another weapon of choice.

In the 2006 version, he continues to carry a laser pistol, but now has cestuses on both hands, which can blast lasers when in fists. In "Cat and Mouse", his lens have a wave coding function for storing and protection from hypnotic waves.

Personality[]

Throttle is the tan one, a quiet and a decisive leader who cares deeply for those under (and over) his command- even though he may be to manly (or mousey) to show it. He was groomed by Stoker, the creator and the former leader of the freedom fighters, to take command-but something interrupted it, and he ended up space with Vinnie and Modo. Curiously enough, he's the only one who's displayed martian skill telepathy trickery as well. He tends to call all the shots. He adverts being a standtardized ladder because he is just as laid back and wild as his bros.
