John Blacksad is the titular main protagonist of the Blacksad comic series.
In the video game adaption, Blacksad: Under the Skin, John is voiced by Barry Johnson, who voiced Jeffrey Fowler in Detroit: Become Human.
Appearance[]
John is a tall, anthropomorphic black cat wearing a tan trenchcoat over a green overcoat and red and white striped tie, with a white collared shirt underneath. He also wears a pair of green slacks and black dress shoes. He has white facial fur around his mouth and chin. He has green eyes with black pupils. He is often seen smoking a cigarette.
Personality[]
John has a stern, serious demeanor as a detective, who uses his cunning, wit, combat skills, and marksmanship in order to finish the job with efficacy. Outside of detective work, however, he is much friendlier and caring, but still maintains a deadpan, sarcastic attitude. He prefers to keep out of the public eye, valuing his privacy and independence, as well as not having to worry about being recognized by the public.
