Finn Collins

Finn Collins was a major character in the two first seasons of the CW show, The 100.

Description[]

Finn was one of the hundred delinquents sent to Earth by the Ark. He was one of the first to make contact with the Grounders to establish peace between the two camps. Finn also cares a lot about his loved ones, which is proven when he pushes the boundaries by killing multiple Grounders to find Clarke.

History[]

During the trip to the ground, Finn was already known to the other teenagers and meets Clarke as well as Wells. He nearly dies on landing and two delinquents died trying to imitate him and pulling themselves away from their seats. On Earth, he defends Wells, injured by Murphy, and prevents them from fighting, and Octavia begins to take an interest in him. Finn will be part of the group that goes to search for food at Mount Weather with Clarke, Octavia, Jasper and Monty. However, they are attacked and Jasper is seriously injured and then captured by Grounders and return to the Dropship. When Raven, an Ark mechanic arrives on Earth, Clarke is shocked to learn that she and Finn are together. He later meets Lincoln who injured him earlier and offers a meeting with the Chief of the Grounders, Anya. Finn then warns Clarke, who suspiciously asks Bellamy to secretly follow her with weapons. Obviously everything goes wrong when the two clans shoot each other and Finn scolds Clarke saying that it is enough to trust him. Finn then survives the battle against the Grounders and is captured by one of them, Tristan along with another delinquent.

In season two, he is seen walking in the woods in chains and witnessing the death of the second teenager. He is then rescued by Bellamy and the Ark's survivors, including Kane, Abby and Sinclair. Everyone then goes to Camp Jaha and supports Raven, during an operation after being badly injured by Murphy. After that, Finn goes on a mission with Bellamy, Murphy, Sterling and Monroe to find the missing hundred. Along the way, Sterling dies while trying to save Mel and the group succeed, although Finn becomes more impatient with reuniting with his friends. He then continues his research accompanied by Murphy while the others return to Camp Jaha. They then discover a Grounder village and search it, holding the inhabitants hostage. Finn loses his temper and slaughters eighteen of the villagers as Clarke shows up, shocked at what he did to find her. Because of this, Finn is seen as a murderer and is demanded by the Grounders to execute him. Meanwhile, flashbacks reveal that it was actually Raven who stepped out into space and Finn covered her up for her crime because she was eighteen. At the Dropship, Finn surrenders and is taken away by the Grounders. Frightened by the gruesome execution, he is killed by Clarke, in front of the two clans and the weeping Raven. Clarke then confronts Finn whom she hallucinates and he finally leaves.

In season three, Finn's ashes are kept in a jar but Jasper, drunk after the events of season two, accidentally disperses them.
