Flavio is a supporting character in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He is a flamboyant man who takes pride in his possessions, including his wealth. During Chapter 5, he lets Mario and his party use his boat to travel to Keelhaul Key.

Flavio is considered a "famous" entrepreneur from Rogueport. Since he owns many beautiful ships, his favorite is the SS Flavion, which he and Mario used to travel to Keelhaul Key, to collect the fifth Crystal Star, which unfortunately was destroyed on the same voyage. He likes to describe himself as a "man who is not afraid of anything" and also "brilliant". In fact he's not particularly popular with his crew, or anyone else. For Admiral Bobbery's last wish, he wants to drink his bottle of Chuckola Cola, in Flavio's possession. It turns out that his ancestors stole the skull gem from the pirate king Cortez.
