Fletcher "Fletch" Bowman is a character from the LEGO Nexo Knights franchise, serving as the main protagonist of The Forbidden Power spin-off book and a minor character in the TV series' fourth season. He is an orphan from Salty Town who was sent to study at the Knights' Academy. Unbeknownst to many, he possesses magic abilities.
He was voiced by Sam Vincent, who also voices Lloyd Garmadon in Ninjago series and provided Sonic the Hedgehog's singing voice in Sonic Underground.

Fletcher spent much of his childhood in an orphanage in Salty Town with 27 other kids. He learned to work since early years and knew very little about the rest of the kingdom, such as the Nexo Knights. One day, the principal of the orphanage declared that he would be sent to study at the Knights' Academy, as he was the "right age", and put him on a train to Knightonia.
The Forbidden Power[]
Fletcher arrived in Knightonia, where he met other Knights' Academy freshmen, such as Ethan Zilgo, who would go on to become his bully, and Izzy Richmond, who would become his first friend there. When the freshmen were sent by the Principal Brickland on a field quest to find Ned Knightley's sword, Fletcher teamed up with Izzy. Together, they figured out that the sword was in the Hall of Knights. However, a strange feeling in Fletcher's body led him to the hidden catacombs under the academy instead, with Izzy following him.
Inside the catacombs, they found a statue holding a shield Izzy believed to be a Nexo Power, unaware that what they found was a Rogul guarding the Forbidden Power of Vicious Voltage. Fletcher accidentally brought the Rogul to life by using his magic abilities which even he never knew he had. The kids were soon attacked by Baron von Bludgeonous' knights who had come for the Forbidden Power, but were saved by the Rogul. The three made their way back to the academy, only to discover that Zilgo had found Knightley's sword before them. In fear of being expelled, they kept silent of their brief adventure and hid both the power and the Rogul in Fletcher's room.
Two days later, as Fletcher was losing the Combatition battle to Ethan Zilgo, Izzy couldn't bear to watch him get beaten and uploaded the Forbidden Power into his shield. With it, Fletcher experienced a power rush that allowed him to defeat both Ethan and the Squirebots sent to apprehend him. However, he couldn't control his power and ended up causing a blackout in the academy. This enraged Brickland, as he feared Monstrox may attack it if he learned that it had been left defenseless. Things went from bad to worse when Baron von Bludgeonous stole the Forbidden Power to use it in his scheme to conquer and corrupt the kingdom.
Overcome by guilt, Fletcher decided to leave the academy, believing his presence would put everyone in danger, but the Rogul's behaviour convinced him and Izzy to follow him to Bludgeonous' mansion. Despite the challenge the baron posed, Fletcher managed to defeat him and destroy the power of Vicious Voltage. Ultimately, he was allowed to stay at the academy.
Nexo Knights[]
While the Nexo Knights were at the party, Fletcher, Izzy and some other first-year students were taken on a field trip to the Fortrex by Principal Brickland and Sir Griffiths, falling victim to some of their teachers' pranks. When the Stone Monsters attacked the Fortrex, Fletcher was among the students protecting it.
Fletcher was one of the students who saw the news about Monstrox's rampage on holovision, and later celebrated the Nexo Knights' victory.
Personality[]
Back when he entered the Knights' Academy, Fletcher was really shy and didn't even want to be a knight. He thus grabbed onto any support he could find, and thus appreciated Izzy's kindness. He eventually learned to take responsibility for his actions and showed that even he can be a danger to his enemies, fighting off Zilgo after withstanding buying from him and courageously confronting Bludgeonous and ending his evil plan before he could even start executing it.

Trivia[]
- Fletcher was planned to have been revealed as Ruina Stoneheart's son, and by extension, Clay Moorington's brother and Merlok's nephew. The series' cancellation, however, prevented this idea from being implemented into the storyline, and was only confirmed years later by Tommy Andreasen, despite being hinted at back when the series was going on. Despite this, a few hints at Fletcher being related to the Mornington family are still present:
- When they first meet, Clay and Fletch bond over the fact that both of them are orphans.
- In "Weekend at Halbert's", Bowman states that he is glad to have no siblings.
- In "The Stranger in the Halps", when she appears in Clay's vision, Ruina tells her son that he is "not alone", and a human silhouette the same height as Fletcher can be vaguely seen next to her.
