Florinda Showers

Florinda Showers is a "character of the day" from the original Pokémon anime series.

She is voiced by Akemi Okamura in the Japanese version, and by Amy Birnbaum in the English version, who also voiced Téa Gardner in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Helen and Cosmo the Seedrian in Sonic X, and Max, Molly Hale and Melody in the same series and movie.

Biography

Florinda is white. She is a tall and somewhat slender adult woman, possibly in her mid-twenties/thirties. She has black eyes. She has long purple hair and a turquoise short-sleeved vest over a large baige skirt with a very small and orange knot. Florinda wears 2 black sandals.

Florinda is the owner of the Xanadu Nursery alongside her friend Potter after inheriting the place from her still-living parents (It's currently unknown if the parents are still alive or they just died of old age). She takes good care of the plants at the Nursery and gives them her utmost attention and care. She didn't have much confidence in herself as she initially believed that being tricked into buying a fake Leaf Stone from Team Rocket makes her a bad Pokémon Trainer and a bad gardener as well. Brock convinced her otherwise as her Gloom was able to defeat Team Rocket with a single Solar Beam. After defeating Team Rocket, she decided to keep up with running the Xanadu Nursery and confesses her love to Potter right before Potter himself does the same.

Florinda's Gloom knows how to use 2 TMs, Double Team and Solar Beam.
