Flurl, also known as Ressar in European regions, is a supporting character in the video game Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. He appears to be based off the Japanese flying squirrel is an ally of Donkey Kong. Flurl can be found sleeping on his perch and is used to glide down long areas gently, like a parachute does. He helps Donkey Kong to reach areas long enough and he can’t reach by jumping.
Flurl will act as a parachute for Donkey Kong so he can gently glide down chasms. He can gain extra lift using updrafts but must be careful not collide with anything otherwise he will vanish and return to his perch.
Personality[]
He seems to be very lazy as he is always sleeping when Donkey Kong finds him on his perch. However, he also very helpfully and will assist Donkey Kong when he needs him.
Appearance[]
Flurl is a red flying squirrel whose eyes are always close as he is constantly sleeping and has a large curled tail. His body can open up wide when he is called upon to glide across areas.
