Frank Ocean, also known as just Frank, is a supporting character in Tyler, The Creator's second studio album, GOBLIN, most notably serving as the deuteragonist of the song, SHE.
He is a man who meets and eventually hooks up with a woman named Milan, but during sexual intercourse at her house, has a run-in with Milan's stalker and the album's titular antagonist, who he is implied to have a short firefight with and catches a bullet during which. After the stalker leaves, he advises Milan to buy a gun to defend herself and then leaves.
He is portrayed by himself.
Trivia[]
- With Frank's lyrics, "Blood on the sheets, probably spilling from my gash" and "[He] had them golden ninja stars and red supreme nunchucks", it's unclear whether the man in the song SHE is actually a ninja with ninja weapons or if the "Ninja stars" are just an allegory for bullets.
- In the music video for SHE, Frank disappears into Milan's closet when her father gets home. He is never shown leaving the closet after this. This is ironic considering that Frank is openly bisexual in real life.
