Fred Abelson is the titular protagonist of the 2003 Cartoon Monsoon short Fred Again.
He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.
Biography[]
Fred Abelson is a worker, father and husband who has Abelson’s Syndrome, which causes him to transform into animals when under stress. His wife Alexandria is a scientist who tries to find a cure for his condition. He helps his son Ryder whenever Alex isn’t around. One day, he brought Ryder and Ryder’s two friends on a bug scavenger hunt for math class. Fred turned into a spike bug and inadvertently got caught. He turned back into a human and found an actual spike bug. Later, he is supposed to bring a speech for Governor Potemkin’s ceremony. However, he tries to bring Ryder to his school play. He transformed into an eagle and brought the speech for the governor.

Fred gets worried easily, which causes him to transform into animals.

Fred has red hair and wears a blue collar outfit. As an animal, he retains his eyes.
