Fred Andrews is a major character in the CW series Riverdale. He is the late father of Archie Andrews, the husband of Mary Andrews and the former owner of Andrews Construction, a construction company. After separating from his wife, Fred mainly lived only with his son Archie. Fred was a loving and wise father who hoped Archie would take over his construction business and at the start of season 4, Fred is killed when a car accidentally hits him.
