Fred Jones is a one of the protagonists of the 2020 Warner Bros. animated film Scoob!, the first installment of the Hanna-Barbera Cinematic Universe. He is the leader of Mystery Inc.
He is voiced by Zac Efron, who also voiced Ted Wiggins in Illumination's The Lorax and played Mike O'Donnel in New Line Cinema's 17 Again and Troy Bolton in Disney's High School Musical series, and Pierce Gagnon as a kid, who also voiced Tiago in Blue Sky Studios' Rio 2 and Tim Templeton in Netflix's The Boss Baby: Back in Business.

Fred, Daphne, and Velma met Scooby and Shaggy during trick-or-treating after two bullies steal Shaggy's candy and threw it to the Rigby House. Then they unmasked their first bad guy. Since then, they all became best friends and had many adventures together.
