~ Freddy Fazbear |
Freddy Fazbear is the titular main protagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's spin-off series.
He is an animatronic bear and the mascot of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Unlike his mainline counterpart, this Freddy is an adventurer, traveling throughout Fazbear Hills and surrounding areas in order to defeat Scott Cawthon, fighting monsters, passing through glitches, all with the help of his friends along the way.
In the unused "Showtime!" song in Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, as well as Funko Fusion, he is voiced by Kellen Goff, who also voiced Funtime/Molten Freddy, Fredbear, the Daycare Attendant, Glamrock Freddy, and Foxy in the same series. In Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, he is voiced by Tim Simmons, who also voiced Nightmare Freddy in the same franchise.
Appearance[]
Freddy is a brown animatronic bear with two round articulated ears that are capable of moving backwards and forwards and dark blue eyes. He has somewhat thick eyebrows, and a large black nose on the middle of his face which honks when you touch it on the title screen. He has a large set of teeth, four fingers and three toes, and holds a microphone with his right hand.
In FNaF World[]
as Adventure Freddy[]
He is one of the first characters. Freddy is relatively easy to use and understand.
He is capable of dealing decent damage during the early parts of the game thanks to Pizza Wheel and Birthday combined. While Mic Toss is good against bosses due to single attacks, dealing more damage the multi-hit attacks.
In most regular fights, players spam Freddy's Pizza Wheel attack. It's his most reliable method of damaging the hordes of enemies players face. The only time Mic Toss should be used is when there is only one enemy left or during boss fights for the increased single target damage.
Birthday is a situational attack. If facing one of the tougher groups of enemies the player may fight during the early game, it may be wise to use Birthday. Its strength, defense, and speed buffs make it incredibly useful during tougher fights, however, use a turn to buff yourself instead of attacking. Birthday only lasts for 1 attack per animatronic, and rarely 2. It should only be used if you plan to do an all out attack right after.
In the end, Adventure Freddy is an all-around, good starting character, filling most roles other than support during the early game, with decent damage and Birthday being a situational, but useful, ability. He should be paired with other starting characters and some of the Phantom characters if lacking in damage. However, Freddy shouldn't be used for too long; and, he should be replaced with another heavy hitter as soon as possible. He is quickly outclassed by characters such as Phantom Mangle's Pizza Wheel 2 attack, or Withered Bonnie's Eye Laser and Unscrew attacks. Other team members should start replacing the minor support role that his Birthday ability gives.
While in the late game, like most starting characters, Freddy becomes useless once you get to the Endo and Nightmare characters, as they are both substantially better at supporting and attacking respectively. With support abilities like Neon Wall, Power Song, Armour Song, Speed Song, Birthday Gifts(gift boxes), etc., Birthday would better be rendered as obsolete. Attacks like Bite 2, Mega Bite, Pizza Wheel 2, Escape Key, Unscrew 2, Freddles and especially Cosmic Song 2 severely outclass Pizza Wheel and Mic Toss combined when it comes to attacking.
As Withered Freddy[]
Withered Freddy can be found in the Mysterious Mine. He is also less damaged than before.
Withered Freddy has the following attacks.
In Freddy in Space[]
Freddy in Space[]
In the first game from FNaF World. he appears as the main protagonist who must defeat Scott.
Freddy in Space 2[]
At the beginning of the game, Freddy is chilling in his ship after seven-months long mission. He built a robot named L.O.L.Z.H.A.X to keep his son safe. But he got a call from his son: L.O.L.Z.H.A.X. went crazy, abducted Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Puppet, brainwashed them and sealed the base. Freddy’s son was out in that time, even though his father told him not to. He was now out of the base without suits and air. Freddy, with the help of Fredbear who sent him information about the place where Freddy is, come back to the base and defeat L.O.L.Z.H.A.X.’s robots, rescuing Foxy, Chica, Bonnie and Puppet. The team, in the good ending only, is also able to save Freddy’s son just in time.
Freddy in Space 3[]
Freddy and his team confront Scott Cawthon, but he, alongside Bonnie, Foxy and Mangle, are kidnapped by him. When he gets rescued by Chica, Freddy helps her free the others and defeat Scott.

Trivia[]
- As in the overworld, in DeeDee's minigame Freddy is the only animatronic who appears in the boat.
- Freddy has more counterparts than any character in the game, totaling 13 (18 if enemies are counted).
- Freddy wears buttons in FNaF World but not in the original game, Five Nights at Freddy's.
- Another difference is that he is missing freckles on his muzzle.
- Another difference is that Freddy has upper teeth.
- Oddly, Withered Freddy from the core series has nearly the same appearance as Freddy, but with different skin, eyes, microphone and broken parts.
- It is likely that Freddy is what the core series Freddy would have looked like before the events of Five Nights at Freddy's 2, rather than the incarnation of Five Nights at Freddy's.
- Oddly, Withered Freddy from the core series has nearly the same appearance as Freddy, but with different skin, eyes, microphone and broken parts.
- If the player clicks on Freddy's nose while in the title screen, it makes a honking sound, similar to clicking on Freddy's nose in several of his appearances in the Five Nights at Freddy's series.
- Freddy is the only character the player can play as in the Overworld, even if he isn't in their party.
- Freddy doesn't have black rings around his eyes, unlike in Five Nights at Freddy's. This applies to every animatronic.
- In fact, those black rings are empty spaces in the mask of the character's suit, where the animatronics' endoskeleton can sometimes be seen.
- It seems that Freddy's attack animation is mainly for his "Mic Toss" attack.
- This can be proven by the fact that Freddy loses his microphone within the animation.
- However, with "Pizza Wheel", this could be interpreted as Freddy throwing pizza, or possibly directing them.
- The same applies to Toy Freddy.
- This can be proven by the fact that Freddy loses his microphone within the animation.
- In the 2D overworld, Freddy rode a lily-pad in Lilygear Lake, while in the 3D version he rides a boat, similar to the Dee Dee's Fishing Hole minigame.
- Though Freddy is the first character to show up on the Character Selection, he's not the only character to be available on the Character Selection.
