Frederick, alias Jim was a knight of the Enchanted forest that accidentally got turned into gold and is Princess Abigail's True Love. He is a character from the ABC series, Once Upon a Time. He himself was a victim of the Evil Queen's Curse

History[]
Before the First curse[]
Frederick was a that served King Midas and is Princess Abigail's True love. One day, he accidentally got turned into gold by the King, who has the power to turn anything into gold. Abigail was heartbroken since.
During a plan to unite two Kingdoms, Midas' & King George's, Abigail was forced to marry the son of King George, Prince James. But James is actually his twin brother, David, who was forced to impersonate James against his will. Sometime later, when David, is in love with the Bandit Snow White, he was on the run from King George. Abgail had two bodyguards abduct him to her, for she wants his help. She confesses that like David, her heart really belongs to someone else. She brings him forth to the golden stature of cursed victim, Frederick and told him of the situation. The only potential way to free him is water from the Lake Nostos, which is guarded by a siren.
After David's battle with the siren, he returned with the water and helped pour it on the statue. The gold was melting and freeing Frederick, at long last. Frederick wondered what happened to him, but Abigail assured happily that he is alive as they kissed lovingly. Abigail introduced him to David for being the one who saved him. Frederick eternally grateful and in his dept. Charming requests him to pay him back by living with who is heart belongs to, but also requests for a horse and supplies for his journey to find Snow. Abigail wishes him luck as she and David are now both happily satisfied who their hearts belong to. But before he leaves, Abigail cautiously forewarns him with concern that once King George learns that the union of the kingdoms has been foiled, he will go after him and try to destroy his happiness.
In s3, Frederick was mentioned by David who expressed that he now knows how he felt when he got turned into stone by the Gorgon, Medusa, when battling the beast with Snow White during their honeymoon.
During the First Curse[]
During the curse, Frederick lived under a fake identity as gym teacher named Jim.
After the First Curse[]
Like every victim of the curse, Frederick was freed and got his memory and identity back, and presumingly reunited with his wife Abigail.
After the third Curse[]
Though offscreen, Frederick is presumingly one of the guests who attended at the coronation ceremony of Snow White's and Charming's newborn son, since his wife is at the ceremony too.
