Biography[]
Before Prologue[]
TBA
While at the WDO, Fubuki solved many cases as a detective, presumably by use of time leaping. By the time of the story, Fubuki was assigned to investigate Kanai Ward, being the third to arrive, avoiding Amaterasu Corporation's attempts to eliminate her, and was taken to the Nocturnal Detective Agency by Yakou Furio, along with Halara Nightmare, Desuhiko Thunderbolt, and Vivia Twilight. While in Kanai Ward, Halara and Desuhiko obtained the passenger list for the Amaterasu Express and searched through the history of every passenger, including Yuma Kokohead. The agency discovered that there wasn't a Master Detective registered under that name, and that "Yuma" is only a trainee, who happens to be skilled in cooking.
Prologue: WDO vs. Amaterasu Corporation[]
Once Yakou returned with Yuma from the Amaterasu Express, Halara and Desuhiko were found gambling together, with Fubuki failing to keep score, and Vivia watching from the background. Halara attempted to justify their win during the game, but Yakou decided to restrict gambling in the agency altogether. Once the other Master Detectives were introduced to Yuma, Halara and Yakou told the information about Yuma that they learned beforehand. The agency told him that him being a trainee was acceptable, and he could still be a member regardless.
After waiting, the agency received a call. They received a transmission from the WDO with an old man claiming to be Number One, the top detective of the WDO, whom never showed his face to the public. Due to Kanai Ward being controlled by Amaterasu Corporation's Peacekeepers, however, the agency declared war between themselves and Amaterasu, something Yakou was cautious about doing. Fubuki was unaware of what was going on, as per usual, to Yakou's irritation, until she eventually got the hint that the two sides were battling one another.
Chapter 1: The Nail Man Killings[]
On the first day in Kanai Ward on the detectives' assignment, Yuma was ordered by the chief to round up the Master Detectives, but Halara was nowhere to be seen. Yuma found the other three detectives in the Sun & Moon Hotel, and he told Fubuki that she had missed the meeting time, excusing that she couldn't have possibly missed it since she makes sure time "doesn't overtake her". He wonders of Halara's whereabouts, only for Fubuki to tell him that she has no idea where they are. Yuma then leaves the hotel to search for Halara.
Fubuki isn't seen again until the end of the chapter, where she observes the discussion of the Nail Man and Yuma and Halara's cooperative investigation of the case.
Chapter 2: A Silent Curtain Call[]
The day following the Nail Man case, Fubuki sees Halara seated in the chair of the agency's chief, mistaking Halara for Yakou. She finds that the chief hasn't returned from an errand to buy food for the agency. Fubuki questions if the chief had got caught up in a line waiting for meat buns, noting them to be a delicacy in Kanai Ward. Abruptly, just as Desuhiko was about to perform a gig in the agency, Yakou bursts into the agency and tells the detectives that he was being pursued by Peacekeepers. Halara wonders why he didn't let them follow after him anyway, to which he responds that it would be better to lay low and not irritate the Peacekeepers any further. Halara, annoyed by his cowardice, takes charge of the situation and leaves the agency to dig up information about the Peacekeepers; Yakou requests Fubuki to follow after them to prevent Halara from causing any trouble, to which she does, joining up in a team.
After Yuma's investigation of Aetheria Academy, he had found information about research happening in Kanai Ward regarding something called a "homunculus", which is an immortal monster. Fubuki would be utterly clueless to what it really was. However, Yakou was concerned at Yuma's interference provoking the Peacekeepers, to which he was proven right as the submarine was hit by a torpedo, causing it to sink, Fubuki being oblivious to the situational danger. Despite the destruction, Fubuki ends up surviving the situation, likely by means of her Forte, and decides to wait in the café for the other members to reunite with her. Fubuki had no idea of the whereabouts of the other detectives, and so waited until someone else showed up.
Chapter 3: No Longer a Detective[]
Fubuki preoccupied herself at the cafeteria, taking up a temporary position as a waitress and covertly selling coffee from the Sun & Moon Hotel she was staying at. When Yuma arrived at the cafeteria, Fubuki was surprised to see him. Yuma explained how she found her again, and that he's on an assignment from the resistance against Amaterasu Corporation, setting up cameras around Kanai Ward. Eventually, Fubuki returned back to Yuma and joined up with him. He was assigned to set a camera on the bus stop near the cafeteria, but had to do so without any witnesses. Fubuki helped him lure away any onlookers, and he planted down the camera on the bus stop. Servan, of whom was assisting Yuma on his mission, told him to journey over to Kamasaki District and set the next camera on the vending machine via his transceiver. Fubuki wondered where the voice was coming from, and he explained to her that the voice was coming from said transceiver. She responded by pitying herself, and then concluded that Servan was in the transceiver itself, causing Yuma to wonder how she trained to become a detective in the first place.
While moving over to Kamasaki District, Fubuki remarked that the patrons of the cafe were staring at her in her waitress uniform, oblivious to what they were really doing. Yuma simply ignored her quip and set the camera down. The video quality was inadequate, so Yuma and Fubuki waited under one of the hotel's overhangs until Servan was finished adjusting things. The two of them talked amongst each other until Servan was finished, and Yuma was then ordered to go to Aetheria Academy where he was before to set up the final camera. Having finished his task, Yuma switched the transceiver's frequency to communicate with Shachi, unintentionally setting off a detonator thanks to a saboteur. They quickly rush to the telephone booth in Marunomon District, where Yuma set up the first camera, only to find the booth has been blown up. When they finally return there, the transceiver tells Yuma a message of "revolution" and claiming that it's necessary and will give Yuma a chance to deactivate the camera bombs set up around Kanai Ward, with each bomb including a countdown that'll lead to all bombs and the transceiver exploding if it reaches zero. The true culprit sells Yuma out to the Peacekeepers, enabling Guillame Hall and Dominic Fulltank to chase Yuma down, incriminating him as a terrorist.
In the desperate situation, Yuma first tries to convince his client, Shachi, who initially sent him on his mission, to halt the chaos, returning to the resistance hideout where Shachi and his teammates are. Upon returning, Yuma tells Fubuki to stay behind for her safety as he re-enters the hideout, and he finds Shachi being chased up to the hideout's roof by Peacekeepers. Yuma follows him up using the outside stairs, only to find Shachi dead from a gunshot. Yuma investigates, returning back down, and tells Fubuki of the situation. Fubuki feels guilt over not being able to prevent Shachi's death, thanks to her ability to rewind time, and Yuma considers the weight of the guilt she must have on her thanks to this ability. After hiding from the Peacekeepers, Yuma then backtracks on his mission to deactivate each camera bomb, the timer for each detonation decreasing, until the transceiver eventually came off of his wrist. Along the way, he re-encountered Kurumi Wendy, who told Yuma she had evidence regarding his situation with the resistance, and to meet her at the hotel. He also interrogated Margulaw, the resistance's benefactor, who told him that Icardi was a champion swimmer, Servan was afraid of water due to nearly drowning as a child, Margulaw himself is a former Amaterasu employee (and has an alibi), and Iruka is a competitive shooter who is an expert at gun craftsmanship, having created the gun that would take Shachi's life.
