Fuuko Izumo is the titular main protagonist (alongside Andy) of Undead Unluck. She is the unluck negator, allowing her to negate the luck of others.
She was voiced by Moe Kahara in Japanese and by Jackie Lastra in English.
Appearance[]
Fuuko is an eighteen-year-old young woman with black hair and brown eyes. She wears jeans, a jacket, a red beanie, and orange gloves. Her hair reached to her feet until Andy cut it for her, giving her a bob cut. After the 170 year timeskip, she's grown her hair back to knee-length and keeps it tucked under her clothes.
Personality[]
Fuuko loves shojo romance manga, so much to the point she was only content with committing suicide once she saw her favorite series come to an end. She was previously suicidal due to her "Unluck" but she stopped when she met Andy and started falling in love with him.
She usually plays the straight man to Andy's antics, but gradually picks up some of his mannerisms and boldness across the series. Come the 101st loop, after Juiz d'arc appoints her as her successor, Fuuko has become a rather expressive and eccentric woman thanks to living for two centuries, acquiring the money and knowledge necessary to circumvent the Negators' tragedies and finally defeat God.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Unluck: Fuuko has the ability to "Negate" the luck of others, causing disasters that alot of the times ends up in death. She does not have the ability to control it and she needs Skin-to-skin contact to use it, later in the 101st loop, she is able to control her luck to make it affect objects.
- Evasion: Fuuko has the ability to dodge large crowds. She likely learned this due to her Unluck.
- Strategy: Fuuko is able to come up with ideas to defeat opponents, especially when under pressure.
- Martial arts: thanks to the training that Shen gave her, she can now use combat techniques and apply them when fighting, being able to defeat masters in martial arts like Feng Kowloon.
- Immortality: By becoming the Boss of Union, she is unable to age.
Equipments[]
- Revolver Artifact: Fuuko has an artifact in the form of a revolver.
- Bad Bullets: Fuuko wears several bandoleers of hand-crafted bullets around her left arm for easy access to her Bad Bullet technique.
