Gabriel William Clarkson, better known as Delegate Clarkson, is a minor character from the video game Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. He is the leader of the Universal Peace Enforcement Organization, determined to maintain peace in the megacorporation-ruled world but often criticized for having outdated views on politics.
He was voiced by Hiroshi Ito.

Clarkson was born on February 29, 1984. In 2010, he completed his doctorate in international political science research at Oxform University. In 2037, he became UPEO's official delegate.
Electrosphere[]
During an armed conflict between General Resource and Neucom, Gabriel Clarkson made efforts to stop the corporations from fighting, but they were in vain. While on his way to a conference at Meriton Highlands, his aircraft was attacked by General Resource planes. If Nemo had joined General Resource, they would shoot down the aircraft, killing both Clarkson and Fiona Fitzgerald, who was also on board. If they were still serving UPEO and protected the delegate, Gilbert Park would issue an order to shoot it down, claiming that Clarkson was a spy for Neucom. If either Nemo or Rena Hirose carries out the order and Clarson is killed, his and Fiona's deaths are covered up as an "accident", and are later revealed to be part of Park's plan to gain more power. If Nemo shoots down the UPEO reinforcements instead, they and the delegate are evacuated to safety by Neucom aircraft.
Joining Neucom[]
If Clarkson survives the attempt on his life, he publicly thanks Neucom for sheltering him, but his further fate remains unknown.
Whether he truly planned to defect to Neucom from the very beginning is unknown, but Abyssal Dision claims that he always thought Gabriel would attempt to do that, and his companion Fiona had previously considered defecting for the sake of her sister. It's also hinted that killing Clarkson was Dision's plan, as General Resource's leader Aldair Carlos Nascimento claims he needed the delegate alive.
