Gaisoulg is a mysterious member of the Druidon Tribe and a recurring antagonist in the Super Sentai franchise, he is the secondary antagonist of 4 Week Continuous Special Super Sentai Strongest Battle!!, a major antagonist in Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger and the central antagonist of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger The Movie: Time Slip! Dinosaur Panic!!.
He was primarily voiced by Tomokazu Seki who previously voiced Lizard Doubler in Space Sheriff Gavan, Buldont in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger, HH Deo in Gekisou Sentai Carranger, Bibidebi in Denji Sentai Megaranger, Yokai Nekomata and his cousin Yokai Mataneko in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. As Takaharu Igasaki, he was played by Shunsuke Nishikawa and by Yousuke Kishi as Stinger.

Past[]
Gaisoulg was originally created by the ancestor of the Ryusoulgers named Valma. At some point prior to the Strongest Battle, Gaisoulg attacked the Gokaigers and kidnapped Luka, using her as his host.
4 Week Continuous Super Sentai Strongest Battle!![]
Gaisoulg first appears after the Super Strong Team win their match against the Curveball Team, swiftly beating down all five members of the winning team before heading off, leaving the other teams mystified as to who he is. However, Marvelous recognises him and tells the other members of his team who he is. Gaisoulg manages to enter the Ultimate Battle legitimately by presenting Rita with a golden ticket of his own and later attacks Takaharu and takes him as his new host. Gaisoulg then ambushes Marvelous, who knocks away Gaisoulg's helmet to reveal Takaharu's face.
Gaisoulg switches hosts from Takaharu to Stinger and attacks Kagura, but Marvelous and Yamato show up to protect her. After defeating Gaisoulg, Marvelous dons the armor so that he can access Gaisoulg's memories to find out where he is holding Luka hostage. Marvelous goes to free Luka, but the evil power of Gaisoulg soon starts to overwhelm him until Luka and the other members of the Oddball Team shoot the armor off.
After the defeat of Dai Satan, Rita dons Gaisoulg's armor to get revenge on the Oddball Team, but is defeated by Bamba and Towa of the Ryusoulgers. However, in the aftermath of the fight, a mysterious figure is seen collecting Gaisoulg's armor.
Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger[]
Gaisoulg sets free Kishiryu Dimevolcano for the Druidon Tribe to claim although, after it falls into the hands of the Ryusoulgers, Gaisoulg mocks Wizeru. Wizeru retorts that Gaisoulg should fight the Ryusoulgers himself if he wants to get rid of him, though Gaisoulg states that wouldn't be fun before heading off, leaving Kureon to question if he is really on the Druidons' side. Gaisoulg later approaches Prime Minister Reiko Kano, a secret member of the Ryusoul Tribe, in her hospital room after she was used as the host for the Mummy Minosaur. Gaisoulg threatens Reiko, but Reiko is not intimidated, stating that both of them are the same as they are both wandering the Earth and that Gaisoulg is having trouble letting his past glory go. As Reiko gets up to leave, Gaisoulg questions where she is going, to which Reiko answers that she has finally found her place.
Gaisoulg shows up again during the Ryusoulgers' battle with the Dodomeki Minosaur, deflecting their finishing move before easily defeating all six of them. As he walks back towards the Druidon forces, Gaisoulg declares that the fun is about to begin before teleporting away. After Gachireus is beaten back by Ryusoul Blue with the power of Pachygaroo and retreats, Gaisoulg shows up in the Druidon War Room to mock Gachireus for "running away" with Gachireus insisting that it is a tactical withdrawal. Gaisoulg then questions Gachireus why he hadn't asked him for help, but Gachireus furiously rebukes him and threatens to shatter his armor, to which Gaisoulg responds that he'd love to see it, but that his armor won't come off even if he wanted it to.
Personality[]
Although it never spoke, merely influencing its hosts, the Gaisoulg armour was shown to be obsessed and driven to find and kill the best warriors in the universe.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Strength: Gaisoulg was strong enough to send Joe and Don flying with single slashes from his Gaisoulg Saber.
- Possession: Gaisoulg could possess and take over people if he needed a host.
Arsenal[]
- Gaisoulg Saber: Gaisoulg's main weapon was a purple and white variant on the Ryusoul Sabers.
- Lightning Slam: Gaisoulg could channel purple lightning into his Gaisoul Saber and slam it to the ground to create a purple explosion strong enough to throw down all six Gokaigers.
- Ancient Break Edge: Gaisoulg's signature attack where he chomped the "mouth" on his Gaisoulg Saber to make purple energy travel across the blade. He could then slash it to create a purple X shape and then launch it into the enemy to land with devastating effect. This was powerful enough to instantly shatter the Dullahan Minosaur's arm-blades.

Trivia[]
- Gaisoulg is themed after a medieval knight, as well as the knight chess piece, sharing the chess piece theme with most of the Druidon generals.
- Gaisoulg is similar to Wolzard (and by extension, Koragg the Knight Wolf as well), due to both being sword and shield wielding knights with similar color schemes. However, while showing purple, the other color scheme of Wolzard (and Koragg) seem to have more black than silver.
- Gaisoulg is also similar to the Cursed Armor and Dogold. All of them are villains from different Sentai series that are associated with dinosaurs, and they all need a host to function. However, unlike Dogold who can switch hosts at any moment, Gaisoulg and the Cursed Armor need to be defeated to be able to do that, and they both wield shield.
