Galtar is the main hero of the 1985 cartoon, Galtar and the Golden Lance.
He is voiced by Lou Richards.
Biography[]
Galtar wields the Golden Lance, a weapon he uses to fight evil. Joining him in his quest are his horse, Thork, the princess, Goleeta, and Goleeta's brother, Zorn. He is battling Tormack, who has usurped Bandisar and strongly covets the Golden Lance. Tormack has assassinated the family of Goleeta and Zorn and orphaned Galtar.
Powers and Abilities[]
The Golden Lance is usually a short staff, but it extends to two magical blades when Galtar holds it above his head. Even without the lance, Galtar is capable of handling himself in battle with his brute strength and lightning-fast reflexes.
Personality[]
Despite his brutish upbringing, Galtar is a kindhearted individual who is always ready to fight injustice. He's always willing to help anyone (except Tormack) in trouble.
