Gamora is one of the main protagonists of Guardians of the Galaxy.

She was voiced by Vanessa Marshall, who also voiced Samus Aran in Metroid Prime, EVA in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Sarah Kerrigan in Heroes of the Storm, Black Canary in Injustice 2, Irwin Dracula in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Black Widow in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Drew Saturday in Ben 10: Omniverse, Wonder Woman in Harley Quinn, and Hera Syndulla in Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Biography[]

Thanos also slaughtered Gamora's entire race and adopted and brainwashed her as his personal assassin. Later on, Gamora defected from him and Ronan and Nebula betrayed him.

She and other Guardians raiding an alien prison to spring Yondu, they learn from him that Korath the Pursuer has a Spartax artifact called the CryptoCube that he plans to give to Thanos. After getting the artifact from Korath the Pursuer, the Guardians of the Galaxy head to Knowhere (a colony in the severed head of a Celestial). When Korath the Pursuer's group and Yondu's Ravagers attack the Guardians of the Galaxy to claim the Spartax artifact, Knowhere starts to come to life and ensnare everyone.
