Harry Gedges, better known by his pseudonym Gary Hedges, is a supporting character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He is the elderly neighbor of the Watterson family and works at every job in Elmore. He is given the name "Gary Hedges" for witness protection against the Russian agents.
He is voiced by Dan Russell.
Appearance[]
Gary is an elderly, lavender moose with antlers, he has wide hips, like Gumball. He wears a gray homburg hat, a brown bowtie, a light green sweater with green collar and cuffs, gray slacks, and black boots.
Personality[]
Gary is the neighbor of the Wattersons, he is usually friendly to them and is even involved in situations with the Wattersons when they cause trouble. Gary is joyful yet oblivious, he often doesn't know what is going on and continues his duty depending on a job he works at. His jobs are usually temporary as he's seen in many places in Elmore where he works at every job just like Larry.
Gary is generous when he gives Gumball and Darwin money, while most people barely give them money.
Gary is extremely grateful and thankful for anything he gets. In "The Extras," he wins a microwave, causing him to rip his shirt and aggressively thanks the host. But Gary gets so aggressively thankful, he starts to hug the host, causing the host to be uncomfortable. But Gary still doesn't want to be aggressive but rather thankful.
In "The Love," he is driving his car and gets infatuated at Martha by looking at her, but he crashes his car into the Donut Cop's police car, causing Gary to be in trouble.
Gary seems to like animals when he cares about his pet dog, because he can be seen walking his dog or gets concerned about his cat missing.
Gary is pressured into revealing his real name to Gumball and Darwin in "The Neighbor," but he doesn't want to do that because he testified against a group of dangerous criminals. When Gumball and Darwin reveals Gary's name is Harry, Gary is confused on how they know his name, and he realizes the agents in question came looking for him, and starts running away in fear.

- Gary is the neighbor of the Wattersons in "The Wand," "The Allergy," "The Nest," "The Deal," and "The Neighbor." But in "The Remote," he lives across the street.
