Gen Narumi is a major character in Kaiju No. 8. He is a member of the First Division of the Defense Force.
He is voiced by Koki Uchiyama in Japanese and by Aaron Dismuke in English.
Appearance[]
Gen is a youg man with short messy spiky hair. His hair is white with dark accents at the tips. During his duties, he wears a green military combat suit with dark green accents on protective padding areas. He has eyes pink-colored eyes. Occasionally, his pupils are cross-shaped.
Personality[]
Despite his reputation as a higher-ranking member of the Defense Force, Gen has an obsession for video games. Specifically, on one hand, he shows a very carefree and self-centered side, prioritizing his personal things like games, action figures, and social media. His immature behavior and his occasional rudeness to authority figures like Director General Shinomiya may make him come off as unprofessional. However, on battles, he becomes a serious, dedicated, youg man. He displays leadership qualities by taking charge of his division.
