Gene Hackman was a hero in the animated TV series South Park. His first appearance was in the episode "Krazy Kripples".

One of Stan Marsh's top actors, Gene Hackman - better known as 'Hack Man' - has come a long way since playing Lex Luthor opposite Christopher Reeve in the classic Superman film. The good-natured and now retired Hackman initially kept friendly contacts with Reeve until his old co-star began abusing fetuses for their stem cells in a bid to become 'normal'. Hackman become an anti-stem cell activist in a bid to defeat him and ultimately succeeding by sending Reeve to the Phantom Zone. While Hackman passed up Tom Cruise's offer to join in on a crushing lawsuit to destroy South Park, he did stop by to help sacrifice Britney Spears.
