~ George Fuller confront the punks his my family theater. |
“ | Hello, everyone. My name is George Fuller. I'm the proprietor of this, uh, this picture house. Well, before we get started, um... ...I'd like to share with you all a quote. It's from the traiblazing Godfather of independent cinema himself, Mr. Orson Welles. He started that, "If you want a happy ending, it all depends upon where you stop your story." I tell you we could stop the story right now and I'd be as a clan at high tide. But enough of my jibber jabber. For the main event, now, you have seen him single-handedly foil Nazi Plots, delivered a pair of conjoined twins in the Sahara Desert. He sent hordes of vampires to their perilous demise. And he is the very first actor to capulate with a robot on film. The film Crude Circuitry and the coming of an Atomic age was one of the most ground-breaking films ever put together. Ladies and Gentlemen, let's welcome the Force From The North Himself, Mr. Claude Luc Hallyday! | „ |

Personality[]
George Fuller (Terrence Howard) is a proud movie theater owner, we must defend his family business from corporate developers alongside a legendary action star, Claude Luc Hallyday (Dolph Lundgren) as art imitates life in a showdown for the ages.
History[]
George Fuller’s family has owned the Warner Grand since it opened in the 1920s with a showing of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis. He runs it now as a repertory theater but it’s not easy paying the bills. So when Lynn Shrader, a big-time developer, offers him big-time money for the property you would think he might be tempted to sell. He isn’t, not at any price. Lynn’s goons Reed and Burton don’t intimidate George, but they do put a beatdown on his buddy and fellow holdout Lucky setting off an escalating series of incidents that reaches its climax during an appearance by reclusive former action hero Claude Luc Hallyday and the two of them face a showdown at the Grand. A scene where George rams Reed’s pickup concentrates on five figures worth of cocaine turning into a dust cloud from the impact. A retaliatory beating by a corrupt cop uses sound effects and the cruiser’s flashing lights to get the point across.
