Gina is shown to be taking care of her mother as well as taking classes to earn a certificate in hairdressing. When Tony tracks down his mother, she wants nothing to do with Tony as he is a crook, but Gina was happy to see him. Georgina warns Tony to stay away from Gina as she doesn't want Gina to be corrupted by Tony and Tony gives Gina a thousand dollars and she is pleased with his generosity.
Later, Gina takes Tony's advice to have fun and is seen dancing at the Babylon Club with her date Fernando who is a member of a rival drug cartel and Tony gets enraged when he makes out with her and attacks him and tells Manny to take Gina home. She later graduates from her hairdressing school and is seen at Tony and Elvira's wedding, along with Georgina and later Tony buys a beauty salon and gives the title to Gina who cuts the ceremonial ribbon opening her business.
Later in the climax, Tony gets a call from his mother saying that Gina has run off which makes Tony go to his mother's house and she gives him the address of where she's at and it's at Manny's house and sees Gina half-naked which makes Tony enraged and kills Manny. Gina reveals that she and Manny got married the previous day, which makes Tony regret his actions and tells his goons to take her to his mansion. Later she goes insane and comes into Tony's office and starts shooting at him, wanting him to have sex with her. Just then, one of Alejandro Sosa's assassins comes in and shoots repeatedly at Gina, killing her. Tony kills the assassin and comforts her dead sister, saying he's sorry and he loves her and Manny.
