Giselle
Giselle (Japanese: 優藤 聖代 Seiyo Yūtō) is a character who attends the Pokémon Technical Institute. She first appears in IL009: The School of Hard Knocks.
She is voiced by Yumi Tōma in the Japanese version, and by Roxanne Beck in the English version.
Biography[]
Giselle is the smartest student in Pokémon Tech. She appears in the episode "School of hard knocks" She's very lovely and highly intelligent, but the latter results in her having a massive ego as well. She thinks she knows all there is to know about Pokémon battle. She seems to enjoy picking on the student named Joe.
When battling Misty, the wily Giselle gets the best of her. Her Graveler, a Rock/Ground-type Pokémon, beats a Water-type Pokémon who was supposedly good against Rock-types. She calls Misty a weak trainer, so Misty is utterly humiliated by this defeat. She sends Cubone to battle Ash's Pikachu but Pikachu pulls through and defeats Cubone, giving Ash the victory.
