The Global Defense Army, better known as the GDA, are the main protagonists of the 2017 Roblox game Tower Battles and its 2023 sequel Tower Defense X.

They are an enigmatic multi-national force initially founded by John to defeat Void and its zombie horde.

Tower Battles[]

At some point in the 21st century, the GDA is founded by John in efforts to defeat the Void and his army of zombies. Not only that, they've faced against various threats in events such as King Jack, Frosty, and Grim.

Tower Defense X[]

Sometime after the events of Tower Battles, the GDA has faced against a new threat in form of revived zombies led by Dr. Xenon. The Cadet, now promoted into Commander is tasked with defending the world and is now accompanied with the Advisor, who provides helpful advice/tips in gameplay.
