God is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside Matt Groening) of The Simpsons. He is the almighty ruler and deity of the entire Simpsons universe. He resides in Heaven. His face is never shown on screen, except for a couple of occasions.
Biography[]
God makes his first appearance in "Homer the Heretic", when Homer falls asleep suddenly and has a dream in which he personally appears to him which he is not happy that Homer skips church. Though he sees Homer's point about why bother going to church at all, and admits he prefers watching the Super Bowl.
His angels friends are his ally in heaven where God must maintain the order in heaven by protecting people from terrible threat that could be really happened.
In an episode where Homer has a dream about Armageddon, Homer was afraid that his family is in danger, he tells God to restore the Earth which God agrees.
God is also rich and a conqueror which he protects the earth from demons who reside in Hell that could be really happened on Earth or any entire Springfield universe.
