Goku is one of the main protagonists of the Japanese game Famicom Fairytales: Yūyūki. He is the best friend of Chao, who stars as the other protagonist.
Appearance[]
Goku is an anthropomorphic monkey. He wears black shoes. His artwork shows his outfit to be a red robe. He is sometimes seen with a golden staff.
Personality[]
Goku can be rough, rude, and selfish. He attempted to take over heaven with Gyumaou, but his attempts failed thanks to the deity Oshakasama. Caught, Goku was banished to a far corner of the world (whose actual location is unknown). Goku reforms from his former ways as his best friend Chao teaches him about kindness and diligence, which proves to be helpful on his journey.
He does not really change much from his Yūyūki personality in the Kirby crossover appearances in Kirby's Dream Land 2 and Kirby's Dream Land 3, although he and Chao seem to have bonded closer, as seen when she worries for his well-being and gives Kirby a Heart Star when Goku is rescued.
Other Media[]
Super Smash Bros.[]
Goku and Chao appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as novice-ranked primary shield-type spirit. Their spirit battle are on the Town and City stage against Diddy Kong and Villager who are distracted by items.
