Gomorrah, also known as the Devourer of the Divine, is a major character in the Bayonetta series. He is a draconic Infernal Demon, who is summoned by Bayonetta to help take care of her foes.
History[]
Bayonetta[]
Gomorrah is summoned by Bayonetta to take care of Balder. He is able to be summoned in battles against Bayonetta's foes. During the battle against Balder, Balder snaps the neck of Gomorrah, which defeats him.
Bayonetta 2[]
Gomorrah survived as he is shown being summoned by Bayonetta in Bayonetta 2 to finish off a new foe in a similar fashion to the first bayonetta game. However, the portal fails to close and Gomorrah seizes the chance to escape and attack Bayonetta. Jeanne pushes her out of the way but in the process gets her soul knocked out of her body. She is then subsequently dragged down into Inferno as Bayonetta fights against her former demonic ally. As the long battle comes to a conclusion, Bayonetta summons a new demon and uses it to smash Gomorrah into the ground. Both demons vanish and Gomorrah's fate is unknown.
Bayonetta 3[]
Gomorrah survives the second game and reappears in Bayonetta 3. Gomorrah is in control of Bayonetta. Gomorrah turns into Sin Gomorrah to fight against Singularity. When Singularity is defeated, Bayonetta's Control of Gomorrah breaks which causes the demon to knock Bayonetta's soul out of her body. Gomorrah is banished by Luka but it causes Luka and Bayonetta to be sent into inferno.
Super Smash Bros. For Wii U & 3DS[]
Gomorrah is a trophy in Super Smash Bros. 4. He is also in Bayonetta's final smash animation.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]
Gomorrah is a spirit in Super Smash Bros. 4. He is also in Bayonetta's final smash animation.
