Good Luck Bear is one of the ten original Care Bears who first debuted as a character on American Greeting cards in 1982.
He was voiced by Dan Hennessey (DiC), Marla Lukofsky (Nelvana), Susan Roman in Care Bears: Journey to Joke-a-lot & Care Bears Big Wish Movie, Sam Vincent in Care Bears: Oopsy Does It!, Peter Anderson in Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot and Patrick Pedraza in Care Bears: Unlock the Magic.
Appearance[]
He has green fur with a matching green four-leaf clover Belly badge.
Personality[]
Though it might seem improbable, this fortuitous bear never seems to run out of good luck. However, this has less to do with the fact that he can create his own four-leaf clovers, and more to do with his exceptionally bright, positive outlook on life. Truly believing that there is no such thing as "bad luck", the fortunate fellow tries to help others my improving the power of their own self-confidence and removing all doubt from their heart. After all, if luck is something that can't be controlled, why not make your own?
He speaks with an Irish accent in both the original 1985 Care Bears and 2012 Welcome to Care-a-Lot series, and an American accent in all other appearances.
Trivia[]
- In DiC Series, he shares same voice with Braveheart Lion.
- In Nelvana version, he shares same voice with Playful Heart Monkey.
