Gopal A.R. Kumar, nicknamed Gopal is one of four deuteragonists (alongside Yaya Yah, Ying and Fang) in BoBoiBoy franchise. He is one of BoBoiBoy's friends who has powers, mainly, Molecule Manipulation that able to turn objects into food.
Appearance[]
Gopal is a large-bodied boy with dark skin and short crew cut hair, wore a red-and-white band with around his head. a long-sleeved dark green shirt and dark green trousers, a red-edged yellow jacket with a red 'G' symbol on the left chest, and white shoes.
Gopal's outfit in BoBoiBoy Galaxy consists of a yellow and green shirt with short sleeves, dark green long pants, gray boots, and red arm warmers on his elbows. His skin color is also brighter than in the original series.
Story[]
His early life is unknown because he is one of the main characters, whose background story has not been revealed throughout the story. This also includes Yaya, Ying, Ochobot and BoBoiBoy.
His first appearance started as a 4th grader student and then he met BoBoiBoy. He is older than BoBoiBoy at one year difference but he is in the same class with BoBoiBoy due to when his father, Mr. Kumar mistakenly informed the wrong birth year of his son during registration.
He lives with his father and his mother, who never appeared on the series. He and BoBoiBoy are bestfriends, so Gopal always asks BoBoiBoy's grandfather (Tok Aba) for free drinks. His mother is unknown because she never made an appearance throughout the series. Not much is known about Gopal's early life because he did not mentioned it.

Powers[]
- Molecule Manipulation: Gopal can manipulate and alter molecules based on his imagination.
- Molecular Transformation: Gopal can transform objects into other objects by altering its molecular structure..
- Molecular Blast: Gopal can generate green energy blasts to that transforms the object he hits.
- Body Transformation: Gopal can alter his own molecules into different substance such as gold, rubber, diamond and food. He doesn't require fear to do this.
Skills[]
- Enhanced Reflexes: It is shown that Gopal has great reflexes because if him being really good at sports and dancing.
- Enhanced Accuracy: After Hang Kasa's training in BoBoiBoy The Movie 2, Gopal enhanced his accuracy.
- Athletic Skills: He is very good at sports, especially football.
- Cooking Skills: Gopal not only loves to eat, but he is also good at cooking. It is shown during TAPOPS' cooking exam which Gopal got a perfect score.
Weaknesses[]
- Food Obsession: Because of Gopal being so obsession with food up to the point of always thinking about it even in his dreams, his powers will not be able to used to is full potential.
- Cowardice: Because of Gopal being easily scared makes him unable to help the team during fights.
Personality[]
Because of his powers, Gopal needs to be scared to use his powers which is very convenient since Gopal is already a coward. Though, he seems to be an opportunist, this is shown when he took Fang's photos and sell them to girls who appears to be the fans of Fang.
He is also a big fan of Papa Zola while the person he feared the most is his father, and his school's disciplinary teacher. He is always thinking about foods even when he's sleeping (Season 1, Episode 2).
Trivia[]
- Gopal was the oldest member of the Gang (He is 11 in season 1, 12 in season 2, 3 and the movie, and 15 in Galaxy).
- Despite being the oldest of his friends at age, he's arguably the least mature of his friends.
- He made a reference of Salt Bae in an episode of BoBoiBoy Galaxy.
