Goro Watari is a psychic mutant who has the power to transform into Inazuman and the titular main protagonist of the Inazuman franchise created by Shotaro Ishinomori.
Goro's mutant powers became awakened after an encounter with soldiers of the sinister Neo-Human Empire. To assume his titular form, Goro must first chant "Goriki Shorai" to become an armored larvae-like mutant called Sanagiman, before building up energy and using it to transform into his "Inazuman" form.
He is played by Daisuke Ban, who also portrayed Jiro in Android Kikaider and Kikaider 01, Daisuke Izumo in Ninja Captor and Makoto Jin in Battle Fever J.

Goro Watari had several dark moments in his childhood is a young college student and a mutant. As a child he lost his mother. He later had a girlfriend named Teresa, but she was taken away by an American soldier during the US occupation of Japan.
Inazuman[]
After a group of children of the Youth League were confronted by the Phantom Army and were neutralized when the soldiers release sleeping gas on them, a man named Gosaku Marume comes across them along with his college friend Goro Watari. They fight off the Phantom Army soldiers, but are then confronted by one of the Phantom Army's mutant creatures, Quintuple Bambara, who launches a fiery attack on Goro and knocks him out as he falls in the water.
Goro is later woken up at the Youth League's base where he meets Captain Sarra. Sarra tests Goro for mutant powers and it is revealed that Goro is one of the strongest mutants, even breaking the mutant tester machine. He is then put in another machine which further awakens his powers allows him to turn into the great psychic warrior Inazuman to fight against the Phantom Army.
Inazuman Flash[]
With the Despar Army having overthrown the Phantom Army and become the new rulers of the Neo-Human race, Goro became the organization's primary target, as they deemed him a threat to their plans. With his new form Inazuman Flash however, Goro continued to fight to defend humanity against the Robot Fighters of Despar.
OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders[]

Inazuman has a cameo in OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders where he teams up with Kikaider, Kikaider 01 and Zubat to destroy General Shadow as he attempted to escape from the riders.
