Goto (後藤, Gotō) is a supporting character of the anime/manga series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. He works as one of the clean-up division or "Kakushi" of the Demon Slayer Corps.
He is voiced by Makoto Furukawa (Japanese) and Derek Stephen Prince (English).
Appearance[]
Goto is a young man with brown pupils, black eyes and he has a fairly strong body of being able to carry people of Tanjiro Kamado's sizes as he did with him after the defeat of Rui and Upper Moon 6.
As a member of the organization, he wears a black uniform with white buttons and a belt around his waist. Most of his face is covered with a mask white and black mask along with a piece of fabric covering the top of his head and forehead, leaving only features around near his eyes visible.
Personality[]
Throughout the series, Goto has developed a strong sense of respect for Tanjiro Kamado, as well as Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibara due to their accomplishments and courage. In general, he is shown to be caring and thoughtful, though somewhat sarcastic/sardonic as well, particularly towards Inosuke in reaction to his more volatile tendencies. He is also generally calm, but occasionally displays a fierce temper on certain occasions.
Etymology[]
- The name Goto means "rear, remainder" (後) (go) and "wisteria" (藤) (to).
