Gou Kazama is the titular main protagonist of Shichisei Toshin Guyferd. He is a man who was kidnapped by the Crown organization to be converted into one of their Guyborgs and experimented on with Fallah, granting him the power to transform into Guyferd. He would later escape with the help of one of their former researchers, Takeo Shiroishi, and dedicate himself to fighting against the organization and trying to find his missing brother Masato.
He is portrayed by Hiroyuki Kawai. His suit actor as Guyferd is Seiji Morii.
Biography[]
Gou Kazama trained in the Ken'nou ryou style of karate with his older brother Masato, whom he idolized. During his travel to Peru, he got himself infected by Fallah while he was sleeping in a cave, which could be one of the reasons why he became Guyferd later on. While Gou was traveling abroad however, his older brother mysteriously went missing, leading Gou to return home to find an arrogant man named Taki having taken his brother's place at his dojo. Gou and Taki were later kidnapped by Guyborgs sent by the shady Crown organization, who sought to use them as test subjects because of their martial arts skills. Taki was dosed with Fallah and transformed into the Mutian Jarks, while Gou was converted into a cybernetic Guyborg and dosed with Fallah as well. When Jarks broke out of his containment however, Gou took the opportunity to escape and soon encountered Shiroishi, a former scientist of Crown who was also fleeing them. He was then confronted by Jarks, who attacked him hoping for another fight. However, using his Fallah augments, Gou was able to transform into the bio-mechanical warrior Guyferd and destroy Jarks before fleeing with Shiroishi. He would subsequently begin using his powers to fight against Crown, who he believed were responsible for his brother's disappearance.
He wake up from his dream and discover his strength after he accidentally bends the metal bed. Shiroishi explains the Fallah he just infected did transformed into Guyferd instead of becoming Mutian. He and Shiroishi went to KenOuRyu dojo where he met Rei and Yuu again before the siblings left to find his brother Masato. When Dogross ambushed Rei, Yuu and Kido, Gou went to fought him untransformed until Dogross retreated. They went to Masato's apartment to search for clues behind his disappearance. Noticed a camera drone behind him, he stabs it with a pen. Shiroishi reveals the drone is actually a command satellite, a mobile camera from Crown, which they realized that both Rei and Yuu are in danger. He and Shiroishi went to their location and Gou facing Dogross again. He has no idea how to transform at first, but later successfully became Guyferd and later managed to destroy Dogross with Rekkageki technique. Later that night, Shiroishi assured no matter what changes his body went through, as long as he keep his human heart, he'll always be human.
While on his way to his brother's whereabouts, he was encountered by group of Fangs and beat them. Volgis arrived and fought him. Unfortunately, Gou cannot transform which led him to be knocked off to a dam. Crown orders Fang to search for Gou at the dam but to no avail. He reached to the mountains where he met with a local priest here and training to control his kis until Yuu found him and informed the Crown has put a bomb in the dam. When he got there, he encountered Volgis again and discovered he held both Rei and Shiroishi captive. After successfully transformed into Guyferd as a result of his training, he managed to destroy the Mutian with BakuRaiHa technique. After the group defuse the bomb at the dam, Rei blames Gou for it.
Hearing that Yuu hasn't been coming home since his swimming lesson is over, he, Rei and Shiroishi went to the Crown facility to rescue him and the others. While Rei and Shiroishi are going ahead to the facility, Gou went to face the Crown soldiers and Fang and then beat them up. Inside the facility, Gou went up there where he found Megumi Shion who plans to infect the children she captured with dose of Fallah unless he surrendered to her. After the children and school staff escaped with the help of Rei and Shiroishi, Shion summoned Spirass to fight Gou. After Gou transformed into Guyferd, he escaped from the facility and fight Fangs which allow everyone to escape. Guyferd then fought Spirass and destroyed her, forcing Crown to evacuate the facility. He went to the swimming pool where he found everyone are safe and sound. Gou stops Rei from attacking her brother, which she replied with a slap on his face.
While Rei and Yuu are training, Gou tells both not to complain and that training is to become stronger. He offers them a drink and wanted some of them, but Rei refused. At the apartment, he was seen practicing while Shiroishi is researching to create a Power Accelerator gloves. Yuu gets out of school early and goes to market with Shiroishi. On the way to market, they nearly ran over a man with white coat and take him to an apartment, believing him to be a researcher who escaped from Crown. After Yuu goes home since it's getting late, Gou asks Shiroishi if the man knows about his brother but he warned him to be careful and told him the fugitive from Crown cannot be alive for long. The next morning, he took the man to the woods to search for his brothers. After encountering Fangs and defeated them, the man revealed himself to be Guyborg 801 and electrocutes him so he couldn't use his Ki anymore. As Antares is about to kill Gou, Rei used her newly-made Power Accelerator boots to kicks Guyborg 801 off of him. Gou was freed and transforms into Guyferd. After Guyborg 801 is destroyed, he went to fought Antares and finished him with Fuuka Ranbu technique. Later that afternoon, Gou claimed that he destroyed the Mutian but the others dismissed by claims that Guyferd's the one who "saved" him.
He and Shiroishi are watching the news of the truck driver died from a crash caused by a Mutian, but Rei told them to help cook for dinner. They went to a TV station to watch the news footage again and met a police detective Yuji Nakano. When Nakano asked what brings them here, they decide to kept the operation a secret, believing the police won't help them find Masato and didn't believe the existence of Crown. Suddenly, they were encountered by a Mutian named Gilpulse. Gou went to fought the Mutian and was about to transform until Nakano arrives to capture the Mutian. Gilpulse attempts to fire a soundwave at Nakano, only for Gou to take the hit and it didn't affect him. Gilpulse beat up Gou in a pulp until Nakano shoots him in the back. Gilpulse flew away as he heard a police siren. Back at the apartment, Shiroishi invented noise-cancelling earmuffs to prevent them from hearing Gilpulse's soundwave. Detective Nakano went to an apartment and asked about the Mutian, but they are hesistant to tell him. Nakano was called to investigate another Mutian appearance, which they come with him. They went to a harbor where they encountered a group of Fangs and beat them up. Gilpulse brainwashed Nakano and turned him into aggressive. After Gou knocks out Detective Nakano, Gilpulse proceed to beat him up along with his friends. After Gou transformed into Guyferd, Gilpulse lift him up with his legs. Luckily, Nakano managed to shoot the Mutian's wings and Guyferd is able to destroy him. Nakano became the group's ally after that.
He finds Rei looking at a photo of his brother Masato and assured her that he'll be fine. That afternoon, he was seen taking a nap on a river, thinking about what his brother said. Yuu eventually found him on the river and said he wished to be like Guyferd. Later that night, he returns to an apartment and is eating dinner with Dr. Shiroishi where they vowed to rescue many victims and defeat Crown. The next day, Gou found a unconcious man on a van and discovered he's a member of G-Force, learning the Crown is planning to turned the entire army into Mutians. He and Yuu eventually hacked into Crown's database network and read the list of Mutian candidate victims. Seeing his brother's name on the list, he eventually went to Crown's base and releasing several prisoners, including his brother. Later outside, he fought Mister Bicross and eventually overpowered him at first. After Bicross turned into a Mutian, Gou is no match for him and transformed into Guyferd to defeat him. As he was about to destroy Bicross, Deathferd suddenly interrupted him from doing so and they ran away. Finally reunited with his brother, they swore to fight against the Crown and defeat them.
Dr. Shiroishi knew something's wrong with Masato, but Gou doesn't believe it. As Rei, Yuu and Masato returns to apartment, he informed them that Shiroishi has invented a tracer that could track down Crown's headquarters. At Crown's former base of operation, he and Masato found that they aren't here. Informed that the headquarter is at the lighthouse, he and Masato went there alone while leaving Dr. Shiroishi, Rei and Yuu behind. Once they got here, both brothers are split up, Masato went to a cave while Gou went to face Mister Bicross. After transformed into Guyferd, they fought and he ended to destroyed him with Gekiryusho technique. When he got to the headquarters where it's about to be blown up by Shion under Zodiac's orders, he meet up with his brother who challenged him for a fight, but he refused. After Masato transformed into Deathferd and escaped, he went to face Dr. Shiroishi, Rei and Yuu, but was stopped by Gou before he could. Shion then reveals that Gou is actually Guyferd. He then confronts Deathferd and refused to fight him. As Rei and Yuu comes to aid him, he told them to step back before he transformed into Guyferd and fought Deathferd with their respective attacks. After they turned back to normal, Masato escapes and returns back to the headquarters where he's seemingly died from explosion, leaving Gou tearfully mourning it as result.
Gou was seen lamenting about his brother's supposed death while Dr. Shiroishi tried to cheer him up when they're having steamboat for dinner. After Dr. Shiroishi and Yuu left for shopping, he began to wonder if he's a human or not, but Rei assured him that he still is as long as he has a heart of humanity. Later that night, the Kujou siblings are left and Dr. Shiroishi wants him to give him a private kenpo lessons and not to get out of the apartment, but he eventually did and began to wandering the city. The next day, he saw Shion and began to follow her until they went to a building. When they got inside the building, Shion reveals herself to be a cyborg and introducing Metal Master and Zodiac to him. Angered, Gou managed to transform into Guyferd and was forced to fight a Metalferd named Dragos, but has lost control of his ki. Zodiac explained that humanity almost destroyed Earth and plans to replace them with an advanced lifeforms. He attempt to persuade Gou to join with him and the Crown, but Gou refused and transformed into Guyferd before he fought Dragos. However, Zodiac only spared him by giving him a time to think about it. When he returns to an apartment, he discovered that Dr. Shiroishi went out to Warehouse No. 2 with Detective Nakano to investigate for a monster sighting. Discovered that he's in danger, he went down to a location to rescue them.
After rescuing Dr. Shiroishi and Detective Nakano from the group of Fangs, he reveals that the Crown planned to used and spread Fallah around the world to create more Mutians, much to their shock. While the heroes are searching for suspicious cargo with Fallah in a warehouse, he and Dr. Shiroishi talk about how Fallah was made and the Crown misused them for their purposes. Dr. Shiroishi is about to reveal where did the Fallah came from, but was interrupted when Yuu finally found the number DT4326 of the mysterious cargo but cannot get an access to it. They contacted Detective Nakano, but he told them that he couldn't find anywhere and decided they should search for it tomorrow. Gou assumed if the Fallah was moved from the Warehouse No. 2, Fangs wouldn't have to attack both doctor and detective. Before the Kujou siblings are leaving, Rei told Gou she'll see him tomorrow. The next day, Gou, Dr. Shiroishi and Detective Nakano went back to the warehouse where they found a Fallah trace, but Shion contacts him to come to her location where she held Rei as a hostage. He went to confront Shion while she blamed him for making her look like this. While fighting, Shion attacked Rei and caused her to bleed. Luckily, Yuu is able to make a fake police siren noise to save them in no time. He return to the warehouse and save both doctor and detective from being killed by Dragos and the Fangs. He went to fought Dragos, even transformed into Guyferd and overpowered him. Despite Dragos gain the upperhand by using nunchucks, Guyferd managed to finish him with Kyokuseiken technique. Gou and the others went to visit Rei at the hospital and gave her offerings.
Rei promised to take care of the dog that she and Saori found on their way home and brought it to the heroes' apartment which they agreed to take care of it together. Gou wanted to meet her friend Saori, but Rei explained she always changing schools and has trouble making friends, so she befriended her in order to be with her. The next day, Rei told him that Saori's behavior has changed and Gou suggest that she should asked those who knows about her. However, Rei ended up being brainwashed after Batrod caught her snuck inside the building where many students are being brainwashed into becoming an army for Crown and acts dismissed towards Gou along with Saori by the next day. He, Dr. Shiroishi and Yuu later discovered that Rei along with others are being mind controlled and went inside the building where they were confronted by the group of Fangs. While Dr. Shiroishi and Yuu went up to the building to rescue many students from being brainwashed, Gou defeated the Fangs until he was being forced to fight Rei. He then restrained Rei and told her to wake up, but his Ki destroyed the bracelet on her arm, waking her and many others up. Batrod angrily attacked him for foiling his plans, forcing Gou to transform into Guyferd and destroyed him. He, Dr. Shiroishi and Yuu are seen watching Rei and Saori walking with a dog and they tease Dr. Shiroishi by showing a dog to him.
After Yuu inadvertently talked bad about Mayumi's dad at her, Gou, Dr. Shiroishi and Rei are teasing him for going out with her. The next day, Yuu brought Mayumi to the apartment and introduce her to Gou, Rei and Dr. Shiroishi. While Yuu and Mayumi are going out together, he, Dr. Shiroishi and Rei are discussed that Professor Kurokawa is forced to worked with the Crown and discovered that Mayumi is in trouble after inspecting her letter. Realized that Yuu, Mayumi and Professor Kurokawa are kidnapped by the Crown, they went to their facility to save them. When Yuu, Mayumi and Professor Kurokawa are escaped from the Crown and were ambushed by Baiken, Gou went to fought the Metalferd and transform into Guyferd. Though he was overpowered when being surrounded by his illusions, he was able to see through them and managed to destroy the real one. When Mayumi said Yuu is not what she's looking in a man, he, Dr. Shiroishi and Rei began to tease him for that. He was seen laughing when Rei angrily chasing Yuu for stomping on her foot.
A researcher named Misa Sudo met both Gou and Dr. Shiroishi and tells them how Fallah was discovered and also the truth about Zodiac. He then tells them how he got infected by Fallah and refused to help her with the research because he believed she will spread false information to the media. However, they were later called for another GX-9 murder case crime scene before Misa left them. That night, Misa was ambushed by GX-9 but Gou stops him before he could kill her. The next day, he told Misa that he should stay in the apartment until GX-9 is stopped. While he and Dr. Shiroishi went to investigate at the park where he and GX-9 fought last night, Gou believed that GX-9 has good inside him and he's more different than the rest of the Crown. After Misa was kidnapped by GX-9, Gou discovered what happened thanks to the Kujou siblings and went to an old school to confront GX-9 and reasoned with him without any confrontation whatsoever. After Metal Master brutally wounding GX-9, an enraged Gou fought him and transformed into Guyferd, but the fight was interrupted when Zodiac told him they have the data before Metal Master retreats. After GX-9 explodes to death, he and Misa mourned it and felt sorry for him. They later part ways and are on better terms.
He and Dr. Shiroishi went to visit the hospital to meet up with his old friend Ayako Murakami and tried to warned her that Crown is going after the Fallah sample. While talking to Dr. Shiroishi, he saw a paper airplane falling onto him thrown by a boy. Outside of the hospital, he contacted Rei and was told that Detective Nakano asked to borrow the tracking device. When Ayako is attacked by Globe, he went to fought him until he was saved by Detective Nakano, but the boy ended up getting injured during the fight. Hearing that the vehicle carrying the blood supply trapped in a landslide, he agreed to protect Ayako while Dr. Shiroishi went to retrieve them. When Ayako tells him about her friend, Gou comforted her by telling how valiantly brave he is. While confronting Metal Master for stealing the sample of Fallah, he was distracted when Globe is attacking both Dr. Shiroishi, Dr. Ayako and Detective Nakano, allowing him to easily get away. He then transformed into Guyferd to fight the Metalferd, easily destroyed him. The next day, he and Dr. Shiroishi heard that the boy is survived due to a successful surgery and told him that Rei will be mad if she sees him getting dirty.
While he and the others are getting annoyed by Ryosuke Shiozawa's arrogance after watching the news, Gou began to aware what Crown has been planning. He and Dr. Shiroishi tried to warn Dr. Shiozawa that the Crown is going to steal the Astronium but to no avail. After they meet up with Detective Nakano, he tell Gou and co. about Dr. Shiozawa's darkest truth and gave them the list of victims, one of them is named Shion. The next morning, he was following Detective Nakano and Dr. Shiozawa until they ended up at port where the Crown attacked them. While trying to pursue Shion and stops her from going after Dr. Shiozawa, Metal Master shows up and fought with him. He then transformed into Guyferd and continued to fought him until he disappears. When Shion is about to kill Dr. Shiozawa, he stops her and tried to talked things out with her. Seeing Dr. Shiozawa is trying to run away, Shion threw a knife at him but ended up wounding Detective Nakano. While fighting Shion, Dr. Shiozawa ended up shoot her in the back. Enraged, he went to confront the pharmacist for this. Now that Shion is dead, Gou mourns her death and felt sorry for her.
While he and the others are visiting Detective Nakano at the hospital, he was told that Shion's brain has been stolen. He, Dr. Shiroishi and Detective Nakano went to the Corpse Research Facility to investigate, but they weren't allowed to let them in. Later that night, he sneaks inside the facility where he discovered that Shion's body is missing, but is able to found a piece of metal that is belonged to Metal Master, so he sent it to Dr. Shiroishi to analyze it in order to find him. The next morning, they were able to find out Crown's underground base after successfully tracking down Metal Master. Realized that the Fallah capsules will be launched at any moment, he allowed Dr. Shiroishi and the Kujou siblings to infiltrate the base to stop the plan while he went to fought Metal Master and transform into Guyferd. Though he was nearly defeated at first, he was able to gain the upper hand on him and finally destroy him. When he got to Zodiac's lair, he was shocked that the capsules will be launched in 40 seconds and Zodiac taunted him for this. However, Shion (while in her brain) deactivates the shield to allow Guyferd to destroy the device and also the entire base. Despite this, Gou and the others hoped that Zodiac will be destroyed soon.
After the Kujou siblings are discussing their journey through Guyferd while fighting against the Crown, Gou and Dr. Shiroishi returned from shopping. While he and Rei are planning to make a dinner, he and the others received a message that warns them about the Crown is about to make a move.
While training, Gou noticed something happened above the sky. He and the others began to realize that Crown is up to something, so he and Dr. Shiroishi went to Honzai to see his old master. After reunited with Jimyo and his students, the master tells them about three holy artifacts that the Crown needed for their plans. He, Dr. Shiroishi, Saki and Jimyo went to a shrine that reveals the Divine Mirror inside. While the others are keeping the mirror safe, Gou went to fought Rudra and transformed into Guyferd, but he later become injured after Rudra attacked him with Cyclone Claw. When the Gaia Soldier was about to finish him off, Jimyo arrives to save him in time, but later ended up getting attacked heavily and the Divine Mirror is on the Gaia Soldier's hand. In anger, Guyferd rushed off to defeat Rudra and destroyed him with Kyokuseiken technique, but it's too late as the mirror was sent to Zodiac. While tended the dying Jimyo, the old master gave him the stone before he passed away, much to Gou's anguish.
Gou was seen looking at a stone while thinking about what his old master says until Dr. Shiroishi approached and talked to him. The next morning, he and the others are went to a historical museum where they met a man named Hattori and asked him to decipher codes from the Polaris Document. As they leave the museum, Gou noticed a golden Gaia Soldier from the inside. Realized what Crown is up to, they went back inside the building where they found the other staffs getting trapped and gagged inside the closet and release them. While the others fought the group of Fangs, Gou went to pursue Hattori who knocked down Etsuko Murakoshi until he went to fought the Fangs. After defeating them, Gou went up to the building where Hattori is knocked down by a Gaia Soldier named Scarabeth and fought him while transforming into Guyferd. Though he had a hard time dealing with the Gaia Soldier, Guyferd managed to gain the upper hand on him and destory him with Bakuraiha technique. Despite the Polaris Document managed to get the hands on the Crown, Murakoshi revealed she still has the data inside her head and later joins Gou's group.
Gou and the others are seen studying the Seven Star Swords from Murakoshi, with him recognizing the face as the same from the Divine Mirror. While he and Rei trying to find a way to contact Kubota, they saw the news on TV that she has returned to Japan and plans to sell the Seven Star Sword for two million. The next morning, Gou and the others attempt to persuade Kubota to gave the Sword to them but to no avail. When Gou and Dr. Shiroishi offered Kubota to be her bodyguards, they discovered that the two of Kubota's bodyguards managed to keep the Sword safe from the group of Fangs. At the parking lot, Kubota managed to discovered that Reiko is actually a Gaia Soldier called Valkyrie, who has the Sword on her hands. After he fought the group of Fangs, Gou went to pursue Valkyrie, but ended up getting knocked down by Rei. However, Gou is able to see through Valkyrie's disguise and transformed into Guyferd to fought her, destroying her in process. Luckily, Kubota convince Gou and the others to keep the Sword away from the hands of the Crown.
After they broke inside the bank to retrieve the Seven Star Sword, Gou and Dr. Shiroishi are on their way home until they were encountered by a Gaia Soldier named Minos. While fighting the Gaia Soldier, he noticed that Dr. Shiroishi's car were stolen with a Sword inside. Back at the apartment, he, Dr. Shiroishi and Rei discovered that Yuu has gone missing. The next morning, they went to search for Yuu throughout various places until they found him and his kidnapper at the Kamina Park. However, they were encountered by Minos and the group of Fangs. While the others tried to keep the Sword away from Fangs, Gou went to fought Minos and transformed into Guyferd. Despite the Gaia Soldier's strength, he managed to destroy him easily, but failed to stop them from getting their hands on the Sword. He and the others are watching the kidnapper got taken away by the police.
After they searched for the location of the Dragon Crystal and found it, Gou and Rei went to Sugino household after Django and the Fangs has already broke into the house. They asked Rika about the Dragon Crystal, but she told them to leave out of fear. Before he leaves, he promised Rika that he'll protect her if something bad happens. While looking at the stone and thinking about what his old master says, he tells Rei how lonely Rika is. Later that night, he returns to the Sugino household and meets up with Rika. They're having heart-to-heart conversation which made Rika became trustworhy enough to gave him the map, until the group of Fangs appears and attacked them, but Rei joins in to help them. While fighting, the Fangs have succeed in stealing the map. The next day, Gou and the others are followiong Django and the Fangs with a tracker that Rei has put on one of the Fangs. After they found Django and the Fangs, Gou went to fought the Gaia Soldier while the others are dealing with the group of Fangs. Gou had a hard time fighting Django due to latter's strength, even after transforming into Guyferd. He is about to finish him off with Kyokuseiken technique, but later shocked to see that Django has already absorbed his Ki before he went to absorbed his power, but not before he snatched the Dragon Crystal away from him. In a fit of rage, Django unleashed his Thunder Cross at him but Gou suddenly disappears.
It turns out, Gou isn't actually died, but is teleported to a dimension where he is lying down on the rock at the sunset. As a spirit, he talks to a spirit of his old master Jimyo where he encouraged him to fight back and tells him that the Crystal Dragon will fused with him. After fusing the crystal inside him, Gou wakes up and transform into Guyferd and return to fight Django and save his friends. While fighting Django, none of the Gaia Soldier's attacks are worked on him, especially when he tried to absorb his ki or unleashed a Thunder Claw. Finally, Guyferd unleashed Kyokuseiken technique on Django and destroyed him once and for all. After turn back into Gou, Rika reveals about what happened to him inside. Following their heartfelt reunion, Gou and the others went back home until they were followed by mysterious figure who destroyed Crown's drone camera.
That night, Gou went off to face the Crown alone since the Dragon Crystal is inside of him and doesn't want Dr. Shiroishi and the Kujou siblings to get involved. The next day, he was seen sitting down right next to a campfire he set up at the forest. The next morning, he sensed that a Gaia Soldier Ranghoul and a Guyborg are on their way and went to fought them. He attempt to transform into Guyferd but is interrupted by Ranghoul. However, he got trapped in his arms on their spears until Deathferd arrives and fought them. While Deathferd fought Ranghoul, Gou managed to transform into Guyferd and destroyed a Guyborg. He went to help Deathferd fought Ranghoul and destroyed the Gaia Soldier together. Reunited with his friends, Masato joins the group as well.
At the apartment, Gou and Dr. Shiroishi are learning more about Gaia Net from Professor Murakoshi until she left. While they went out to the city to search for Masato, they were called back to the apartment as they discovered that a Gaia Soldier named Valcanon had just break into their apartment room and attacked the Kujou siblings. As soon as they got there, they found Rei lying down unconcious and use a half of his Ki to wake her up. One of Crown's camera drone came up to them and told Gou to come to the building to save Yuu, which he accepts. When he got to the building, Gou fell onto his trap and is ambushed by the group of Fangs. He was threatened to surrender in exchange for Yuu's life, which he was about to get killed by Valcanon until Deathferd arrives and saved Yuu in a right time. After he fought the group of Fangs, he transformed into Guyferd and fought Valcanon. After trying to use Kyokuseiken technique against Valcanon, he turns back into Gou due to using all of his Ki to save Rei, which Valcanon hoped this would happen. As Deathferd takes his place to fight Valcanon, Yuu escorted a weakened Gou away from the fight but they were confronted by Zodiac who easily beats up Gou and take him to Crown's Mt. Fuji headquarters to extract the Dragon Crystal from him.
Gou later died after the power of Dragon Crystal inside him was extracted, allowing Gaia Net to be activated as result. When the group of his friends got to Crown's Mt. Fuji lair, they got to Zodiac's lair and discovered that they were too late to save him as they saw him died. Rei, wanted him to go back to life, begged him to wake up. As the stone shines from Rei's hand, the spirit of Jimyo told them to unite their hearts and souls in order to wake Gou up, which they did by stacking their hands on top of him, allowing Gou to be revived. When Deathferd is nearly defeated at the hands of Zodiac, Gou arrives and transform into Guyferd but almost getting nearly defeated. With two brothers working together, both Guyferd and Deathferd were able to destroy Zodiac once and for all, but the Gaia Net is still active, so they decided to sacrifice themselves to stop the device. When they got there, the brothers saw Kuzan turns on his explosive device to stop them from deactivating the Gaia Net. When the facility began to crumble, Masato risked his life to holds down a collapsing pillar so Gou could deactivate the Gaia Net all by himself. When he got there, Gou used the power of Dragon Crystal to stop the Gaia Net, sacrificing himself while the facility is blown up alongside his brother, stopping it from exterminate the entire humanity. Despite this, Gou's allies hoped that he and Masato will return one day.
