Grace Dixon is major heroine in the television series Sleepy Hollow.
She was the house Matron at Lachlan Fredericks' manor, an ancestor of Abigail and Jennifer Mills. Like Lachlan Fredericks, who was a white warlock, Dixon was also aware of the supernatural evils outside of the manor.
She was portrayed by Onira Tarés.
History[]
Dixon was born in the American colonies in 1751, worked as a house caretaker at the shrine at Fredericks Manor in Sleepy Hollow, while NY. Fredericks Manor was the stronghold of the white wizard Lachlan Fredericks who maintained his home as both a worldly and otherworldly sanctuary for others. He was an abolitionist and all of his staff were freedmen and women who worked for wages.
Dixon first met Ichabod Crane at a Lachlan Fredericks reception during the war. Katrina Crane sought sanctuary from him when she was pursued by her coven and Grace carried her to safety in labor with son Jerry. When the birth caused the barriers to break down, Grace, Katrina and Jerry fled together.
