Grandma Panda is a minor character of the movie Kung Fu Panda 3 and a supporting character of the Amazon Prime TV series; Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny. She is the grandmother of Bao and Nu Hai, who promised to take care of them.
Biography[]
Kung Fu Panda 3[]
When Li Shan introduces his son to the residents of the Panda Village, Grandma Panda is happy to meet Po. She pinches his geeks and tells him he is handsome just like his father.
She comes to help Po to fight Kai and his army like every panda of the village. She begins to learn Kung Fu from Po to protect the Panda Village. When Po is in the spirit realm fighting Kai, Grandma Panda and everybody else give their Chi to help Po to defeat the enemy.
After Kai's defeat, she is in the Jade palace to continue her training to learn Kung Fu and Chi Manipulation.
Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny[]
She often helps her grandchildren and their friends in their adventures.
Personnality[]
She is kind and sweet not to mention very affectionate, often pulling Po's cheeks and complimenting him on how handsome he is. Because of her old age, she can be a bit slow but has proven to be a competent fighter. She can actually be very spunky, as shown when she fights the jombies and refers to herself near the end as a lethal fighting machine.
