Green is a supporting character of the anime, manga and webcomic series One Punch Man. He is the A-Class Rank 24 professional hero for the Hero Association.
History[]
Background[]
As a child, Green had plants growing inside him and started fusing with his organs and his nervous system. He eventually gained the abilities to manipulate plants inside his body. In the future, he later joined the Hero Association.
Monster Association Arc[]
Green makes his appearance during the Monster Association arc and was assigned to heal the S-Class heroes and other numerous heroes. He saves One Shotter by killing an insect-like monster as the group of heroes are surrounded by a bunch of monsters. Green is later on seen helping aiding other heroes with an aid kid. As being a lower ranked hero he stayed with the above ground hero as the S-Class heroes are being ordered to invade the Monster Association's headquarters. Green finishes the remaining monsters along with the rest of the lower ranked heroes. As Green blocks all the exits in the exception of the one they're guarding before Nyan suddenly appears to attack aiding hero team as they tries to Waganma a safe place. With Strange Binding Shell, Green tries stop Nyan while Mizuki and a few other heroes attacks him from all direction Nyan however just defeats all the heroes as he plans to kill Waganma.
Appearance[]
Green is a skinny man with a weak physical appearance who usually has a rather tired expression with sunken cheeks and long green hair arriving at his shoulder along with leaves growing out of his head. It's also stated that his skinniness is caused by the plants that are growing inside him are absorbing his Nutrients.
Abilities[]
Plant Manipulation/Agrokinesis: Green can manipulate the plants from his body to move and extend them through the ground. The vines are strong enough to wrap around monster's body and restrain them until they die.
